@ANDRE4873 Hey! It's not my beat so I can't really charge you anything for it. The beat you are asking for is "Strange Fruit Project - Up jump da boogie (Inst)". Look for their 12" released on Spilt Milk, the instrumental is on there. peace!
When did u discovery these songs when u started mixing them? :O i try to youtube and google but i cant find music like this, mind giving me instrumentals/songs similar to the stuff u had in ur video??, i need to listen to more music like that :P, new music that is happening now isnt good :/
@NatesSound Hi! Sorry I didn't answer before! This is alot of japanese labels tro looking for some japanese jazzy stuff. Subcontact is a good label to start with, but actually, I don't know if they release alot of these 12" anymore..
@stranger450 Here you're actually right, there are some mistakes in this mix, actually didn't count on any views when I uploaded this video over two years ago. I'm glad that people enjoy it anyway. I don't understand your hate though, do your thing and let others do their. Comments like that aint gonna take you nowhere. It's not a competition.
@faddone I think this is the first thing ive ever left a comment on. I Love the whole thing man, you might have just inspired me to spend some good money on some decks. I love freestylin to this man, keep up the good work!
damn u have to chill...no one is born to be perfect. We all have to master the craft down the avenue we choose to stroll down. At least he is mixing some good shit instead of garbage like Drake...Wayne Nikki Minaj etc. Kill the hate. Outz>>>>>>>
@battlecry hehe, yeah i know, these numark sucks in many ways. Trying to upgrade to a pair of 1200's och 1210's but they are pretty pricey around here, even the used ones.
@piki217 lol these are from the "Numark Battle Pak" an old beginner DJ package, the entire thing costs like $450 and it comes with a mixer and a pair of needles and headphones compared to 1200s which are 7bills each. I started out on these I'm not gonna lie their pretty decent and reliable. I think its best to start off with low brand decks and move your way up to higher brands because that way you'll feel like you earned them.
@piki217 Try to get a pair of used ones if you don't want to pay up that much. A new pair of direct driven turntables will cost you a little more than that. If you are going to touch the records while spinning them you will need direct driven turntables, any kind of belt driven solutions will suffer hard from beeing handled the way I handle them here.
@battlecry Yeah, You are right! I've been putting all my money in records up til this date. I feel a need to upgrade soon, but considering how cheap they were, like 230€ for 2 turntables & mixer, they have really been doing a great job, never had any troubles with them.
A good thing with this is that you can feel if vinyl Dj'ing and digging is something for you, if not, you have not made a too bad deal. But it's good to know how to handle a pair of 1200's, since they are standard everywhere.
great mix bro! that's a real dj, just mixing no big show off (altough those cuts are nice) and strictly vinyl! not even premo babu etc. use vinyl anymore in performances.. what the hell?!
Thanks! I DJ for the fun and the collecting, and of course vinyl is more fun than computers. Even if they make djing a whole lot easier and lighter it's not my cup of tea! And personally I know few things that's nicer than picking up a big package of fresh vinyl from the postoffice and go home and really listen to the tunes...
for real! i mean if you take serato so you mustn't take all your (sometimes rare) vinyls to the club and don't mix with serato's tools like bpm counter, visualizing etc. but with real skills i think its ok, but if you start to prefer serato to vinyl in general that's just wack in my opinion..
Nice set!!! Your music selection is like mine.. I love the jazzy Hip Hop instrumentals. I like the songs u played. I'm too poor to afford a camcorder, so i can't post any videos lol : ) I'll get one tho, so i can. Nice mix, i like your style. Dj CAS. Lawrence, Kansas
