I've never heard of something like this going on at all. I never at all heard anyone in the USA pulling this off whatsoever, not even on the news. I guess this is some sort of Canadian celebration tradition when a hockey team wins.

That is quite a riot and becomes more populated at the end of the video for a brief time, I notice.

Normally, fans of any Canadian team would show strong enthusiasm, but the fans of Montreal's team demonstrate the greatest, I think. I'm not a huge hockey fan, but I do like when our team is victorious as well as watching the ways in which people correspondingly celebrate and commemorate the victories, especially for the current NHL playoffs.
