Met him in 92 at the ICA in London. Let me come to an afterparty and told me that I should get some fine pussy to take me home and feed me for a couple of days. Legend.
roscoe91104 is talking about the super rare Transmat Relics CD released on the now defunct label Buzz Records out of Belgium 1992. That CD release contains many more extra tracks than its vinyl counterpart. Looks like that CD will never be reissued. I doubt Derrick May still has the original tracks stored safely. This relic track appeared butched down to 1 minute on the Innovator 2xCD on R&S Label.
@DoubleMM70 Yuuup, I hear ye... Tooo much boxin in goin on... let em be, they'll grow sometime... But hey, it keeps a man eatin & expressin in detroit...
Finally found this super hard to find CD at my local record shop in the used bin. How it made the rounds from Belgium over here to Pasadena, California I'll never know. The CD is in great shape and I got it for a great price (the store owners didn't know the rarity of this CD). Now, my hunt is over as this CD took me over 15 years to find. Track 7 (Another Relic) & Track 11 are my favs along with the obvious Strings of Life.
Freakin' awesome track! Hands down, my favorite track off the treasured Transmat Relics comp! I wish this track would run at least 10 minutes! Techno with emotions! Took me years to find this track but when I finally got my hands on it my ears nearly fell off. Sadly, it was butchered to one minute on the Innovator 2xCD / 5xLP releases! :(
A track reminiscent of waking up, pulling the curtains only to feel the warmth of sun-light beaming on your face. But you gotta be quick, it,ll be gone before u know it, afterall, its only 2.44 - nevertheless, aint it just the best 2.44 you ever had!
I ferkin love this.

Detroit techno is best of electronic music

@miodrag75
Funny Detroit wasn't feeling Derrick Mays music until it was played in Chicago.
Under the House Banter because that what it is. Detroit didn't have an identity until the late
80's early 90's.

I don't usually like putting music in genres and labels, but of all the electronic dance music that ever came out, I like Detroit techno the most.
