ROFL at Tiny Tim, "i would like to talk to you about this issue privately"' FACEPALM! nice job there tiny tim <---lower case cause thats what you deserve xD
Look at Paul. Up there strong and fearless. Fighting the bankers. I got his back. I dare those sons of bitches lay a finger on him. It will be their very undoing...
This man is in politics because he's defending a point of view that is becoming extinct, the constitution, every one else is there because of corporations and special interest groups who only do what they are told
interesting the timing when his time was up, and i think he should still deserve an answer, how can he finish a question in time and not get an answer?
in this shooter mmo i play, if you suck really bad, people can kick you off their team by majority vote. hackers that cheat and noobs that have no skill are booted from the game. this policy NEEDS to be implemented in government. if you work for the so-called "public" interest, and the public doesn't like you, the public should have that right to boot the suckers out of office. financial crisis could have been avoided years ago under this and tim gethner would have to GTFO & take ben with him.
@ThaigerDon true, but callvote in shooters is frequently abused. people "vote spam", which is call votes over and over when noone wants them to. they also call votes on people that they don't like and even sometimes on top players out of jealousy. that's why voting is disabled on most servers.
however, things in govt have become so shitty that i'd be willing to try almost anything...
"in this shooter mmo i play, if you suck really bad, people can kick you off their team by majority vote. [...] this policy NEEDS to be implemented in government."
... you know we have these things called "elections". Funny how they work.
If you want to vote for Ron Paul in 2012 make sure you vote in your state primaries otherwise he won't get on the ballot. We need him get him in by surprising the people in power. Hopefully their failure to be in touch with the american people will help us this time. Once they recognize he has a chance the fix will be in..Don't wait get him on the ballot in 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!
World Money !! What a concept ! I saw World Money at the Bank of Bangkok in 1982. All different sizes and colors with animal watermarks. Hello NWO ! Buy Ammo you may need it soon.
why is this the only man in America saying that if we do the right thing we will only suffer financialy for five years and if we don't do what we should there will be ten to twenty years of misery. no free lunches you fucking liberals. grow the funking hell UP
Ron Paul Rules 2012! I put his bumper sticker on my car and some jerk in Newport Beach took it off and pasted on my windshield upside down! So annoying all the arrogant greedy repubs over here in the OC! I bet he was one of the jerks who shipped my job overseas so he could make a few extra bucks! I hate scum Repubs who don't give back to the USA and make help keep up our infrastructure! I bet if McCain won all our bridges and roads would be crumbling but the top 1% would get even richer!
A Dollar is not a Bill until the Unit of Dollar is printed on a Note. So a Dollar is still a certain weight of silver and gold. Like Yard or Feet except you're talking about how much pure gold and silver. Though you can't Pay a Dollar unless you have a Note of redemption. Which means you'll Pay with Gold. NO GOLD OR SILVER NO LAWFUL MONEY. TODAY WE HAVE FINANCIAL DEBT INSTRUMENTS MEASURED AS NATIONAL CURRENCY WHICH CIRCULATES AND PERPETUATES DEBT OUT OF USURY.
exactly monetary policy.. AROUND THE WORLD...where were you when china was pumping billions of dollars into the US economy, and credit was cheap and your house was soaring in value.....????
i don't agree with at least 50% of what ron paul say, yet i still love and respect him more than any other politician. and i'd vote for him in a heart beat though i've voted liberal my entire life. go figure...
GOP-Led States Are doing their best to Change Election Laws Before 2012 .. they are changing the way the electoral map works and allocating electoral votes by congressional district differently making way the electoral votes count in their favor .. and there is nothing illegal about it .. they are doing this by changing laws before we vote. look up Rachel Maddow Takes on GOP Proposal to Change PA's Electoral College Vote
i can sense the truth. like ron paul. when you here republicans fault democarts obamas fault. thats all bullshitl divide and conquer. just listen to these professional liars and everthing wil be ok lol. when u get confused its not cause its to complicated for u its on purpose to trick you.
Tiny Tim you can spell the pus coming off of him, What an evil piece of shit , must be some way to put this guy in jail, solitude so he cannot spread his evil. Please God Please get rid of this evil evil man.
Impeach O B O M B M A lots of evidence to do this before he destroys us all before it is too late Go Ron Go
I am willing to wager that all of the people making negative comments towards Geithner and in support of Ron Paul are NOT financial or economic experts. They have no formal training or education in economics or finance, and have no idea what is being said in this video. As usual, if you want to win over Republican voters, just say a few "cowboy comments", and you'll melt their hearts. Ron Paul is a fool who has no clue what he is talking about.
It's not economists or academics that make up the majority of the voters in the United States. We all have a responsibility to be informed about these issues, and form our opinions as best we can. Many people have begun listening to Ron Paul because he's been saying the same thing for 30 years, and he's been right about the majority of his predictions. He has stirred more thoughtful discussion about economic policy than any other candidate, and that at least is a good thing.
@schuur451 Yes, you do have a responsibility to be informed about these issues. That can only happen from "the source", from journals, academics, etc.. Not from politicians who purposely manipulate these facts to get voter support, Ron Paul is not excused in this area. How has he been right about the majority of his predictions? Most of his philosophies would lead to great horror on the American middle class and poor.
@Ikjyot Great horror to the middle class and the poor...unfortunately that's happening now, despite the planning of the "experts" in their fields. The middle class is shrinking, we have no money for entitlement programs, and wealth is concentrating in the hands of very few due to government favoritism.
@schuur451 Actually, the horror would be exponentially worse if not for Obama's policies, and conditions would be considerably better if not for tea party interference. The experts in their fields were always trumped by tea party members. The wealth is concentrated in the hands of the very few because of Republican policies, not Democratic, and specifically your tea party
@schuur451 . If you want to be fully autonomous from government like Ron Paul, then, don't ever send your kids to public schools, stop driving on public roads and highways, don't go to your town community centre, etc... Also, pull your parents off their medicaid, and social security cheques. No sense in hypocrisy right? If you support Ron Paul, then you should be doing all of the above. If you are participating in even one of those programs, you are not a true Ron Paul'lian.
Fully autonomous from FEDERAL government. And fully isn't the right word either, read the ***ing Constitution. It never ceases to amaze me that the people who oppose Ron Paul or criticize him don't even understand his positions.
@eits1986 Fully autonomous from the FEDERAL government. Great, so give individual states the power. I've seen this somewhere before. Ahhh yes, Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine controlling the galaxy with the planets full authority given to the local governors. Yes, that worked out well, and didn't cause a Rebellion?! All jokes aside, your idea of government has never worked according to HISTORICAL fact.
@angeloital19 Emperor Palpatine did not give full authority to local governors, on the contrary he set up a Galactic Empire, with him as supreme dictator. All planets that weren't loyal were assigned imperial governors. Also Sector Governors(Known as Moffs) were appointed by Palpatine, and reported directly to him. They weren't autonomous. The Republic already was a federation, a union of autonomous sovereign planets. Don't use Star Wars references if you don't know what you're talking about.
The battle isn't socialism vs. capitalism, it is capitalism vs. corporatism. Corporatism is what happens when your society's morals lean towards greed and raw profit, which of course will always spill over into the corporate/economic sectors. If the morals of society are healthy and there is a strong sense of community, then you will not need welfare, or high health care costs, or bailouts, or checks and taxes on corporations. But we all want a shiny new car 2-story house.
Think about that, and ask yourself, are those what it really takes to make you happy? I sure hope not... Materialism is the reason we are in this hole. You can blame "corporate greed" (not YOU, just generalizing) all you want, but when it comes down to it, when we stop being a producing society and start being strictly a consumer society (which we are now), corporatism and mass poverty are sure to follow.
@eits1986 I do believe you misunderstood my intent. The fact is, I'd be content right now to have slightly better than what I have now. Because right now, I'm going back and forth between unofficial live-in male nurse for a grandmother recuperating from surgery and sleeping on a couch in a house taken over by international kids. Even TARGET is sending me "no more openings, sorry" rejection letters for getting a job.
In essence, I don't care if I never get a mansion to my name. But I do want to get my own footing. And right now, I the Fed has made it so impossible for businesses to operate that I can't even get the fundamental things in order to support myself with.
How do you build yourself from the ground up when you're not even allowed ground to stand on?
@angeloital19 I missed your point because I didn't understand it. Saying that a member state of a federation can't be fully autonomous because in the example of the Star Wars universe's New Order, local governors were given fully authority(S), thus the Empire had full control(E), which caused a Rebellion(R). In other words:S is wrong, because E is wrong, because E caused S, which caused R. However you're wrong. S not=E. R was caused by E, not S. Does this make sense? Tell me what I missed.
You make a good point, comparing governmental policy with science fiction fantasy. And yea, I see what you mean, its never worked, especially if you ignore the first two centuries of American history. I suppose your response will be that it doesn't matter because the times have changed, but if you actually RTFM that came with our country you would know that it isn't some antiquated piece of legislation, it very much applies to today.
Furthermore, oppression at the state level can be changed and dealt with more rapidly than that at the Federal level. Also, you're talking about dictators, if the f-cking executive branch would stop violating the Constitution we would never have to worry about oppression at their hands. I honestly don't feel that you even tried to make a case, and I can't for the life of me see how anyone can be in support of more Fed given their modus operandi and track record.
@eits1986 The UK, France, Canada are miles ahead of EVERYTHING in The U.S. Better health care, infinitely better education, better social services, and of course, a PROVEN, FACTUAL higher standard of living. Socialism for the world!
Umm... No, they aren't. You should do some research and form your own opinions instead of assuming what you hear on the news is the 100% truth. The UK is falling much faster and harder economically right now than the US, France's GDP is nowhere near that of ours, and Canada's health care system is of much lower quality and, contrary to popular belief, if you are in need of SERIOUS care, you will be on a very long wait list.
As for the higher standard of living... How many people do you know that live in France of the UK? Because I know quite a few, and they all have tiny apartments, no cars, pay way more for clothing and food, and make the same, if not more, than I do here, and many of them have a higher education than I do (I've got a Master's). You should stop looking at statistics, which are almost always collected in different ways across borders, and start researching things for yourself.
@eits1986 I know for a fact from a friend of mine in boston that food is generally cheaper in europe, as E.U farm subsidies are ridiculously generous, the reason why they have little apartments is because of green policies which limit expansion into rural areas, on-top of the fact that most of Europe is habitable and settled whereas America has a lot of land which is still underdeveloped and places where land is cheap. What is U.S population density on average? I bet lower than europe...
You've got some serious issues if you think those countries are better off than we are right now, or will be if the current economic crisis isn't allowed to correct itself, which entails getting an administration in DC that doesn't spend us into oblivion.
@schuur451 When you have a medical problem, do you go see your elected representative to interpret it for you, or do you go see your doctor? When you have a legal problem, do you go see your local representative, or do you go see a lawyer? For some reason, when it comes to the economy, and finance, no one goes to the experts in the field! They all ask these politicians that purposely manipulate the facts, and lead you to believe that you are being "informed" on the issues.
Geithner: "talk privately or in another context" are you out of your mind TG? of course you are..do you not think it right to talk about the possibility of introducing a new reserve currency with China...WAKE UP AMERICA AND THE WORLD!!
Ron Paul picture bomb on September 7th ( the day of the MSNBC debate ). Change your Facebook pic into a Ron Paul picture to promote liberty, and the constitution.
@MrNanothermite: Clever screen name;) Thank you for your comment to me...and yes...I totally agree with you. I am constantly met with people whom just do not want to see our government for what it really is. They don't want to hear, nor look, at history or our current situation. It is sad; however, I won't give up. I will continue to "wake up" those that I am able. What are you doing for 9-11's 10 year anniversary? Just curious. Thanks again.
Former Goldman Sachs exec who changed name now trying to ease bank regulation -- A former Goldman Sachs exec (Peter Simonyi to Peter Haller), who changed his name after leaving the company, now works for a senior US congressman (Republican Issa) who is attempting to ease regulations on banks like his former employer GOLDMAN SACHS.
Govt corruption and GOLDMAN SACHS creeps, just like Tim Geithner moving to a fed govt position to FURTHER cheat people. Just like Bernanke ALWAYS CHEATING people.
Want to make a REAL DIFFERENCE America??? DON'T VOTE!!!! People who DO vote have NO RIGHT to complain about current circumstances. Some of YOU are the ones who voted our current President into office; therefore, you are partially complicit for the mess we are in. I however did NOT vote. Why would I choose between two shitbag candidates. The idea of bipartisan-ship is yet another illusion created for the masses. They are both just different sides of the same coin: A CORRUPT GOVERNMENT!
@kim1by Two wings on the same bird. Controlled by the same cartels. Global collectivism isn't too far away ...Wake up everyone you can !!!!! Especially military and police.W/out them the NWO scum has nothing...
@ bluescore: Well said. You speak the truth. Americans, remember this: Presidents are SE-lected NOT E-lected. Your vote is an illusion, just as it is an illusion that this country functions under democratic policy. It does not....period! Short of a peaceful, yet massive and firm REVOLUTION, there is absolutely NO HOPE FOR THE USA!!! Just because you may disagree with me does not mean I do not speak the truth. "By the people, for the people!!!"
I hope everyone understands things are not going to get better over night. If and when Ron Paul gets elected its going to be a brutally rough transition period. Change is painful sometimes. Drastic change is drastically painful. Everyone will blame Ron Paul but in the end, things will get better. And what choice do we have? We are screwed as a country. I'm voting for ron paul because not only is he the best choice, he is the only choice.
I saw the debates live Fox stream .All the candidates represent the status quo but one. Many feel America must begin a complete restoration.Join the revolution and stop being scared it's un American .We wouldn't be here today with out the founding fathers. RP 2012 !!..Let these video's be the voice of Paul Revere .. Send them to all you know ...
RON PAUL IS GOING TO BE PROSECUTED BY UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! ITS UNCONSTITUTIONAL TO CALL AMERICAN PEOPLE INVADERS AND INITIATORS OF WARS.
RON PAUL SAID THE USA INVADES COUNTRIES AND STARTS WARS, WHICH GIVES USA A BAD REPUTATION AROUND THE WORLD , THEREFORE IT IS CONSIDERED A CRIME . A US CITIZEN WHO,
WAS BORN IN USA CANT GO AGAINST GOVERNMENT POLICIES WHICH MIGHT THREATEN THE FUTURE OF THE COUNTRY'S SECURITY .
I have to begg to all the republicans that they should sacrifice their ambitions of being presidents if they really want to save this country and they care for this country and the people then they need to join forces with RON PAUL AND STEP AWAY. THAT WILL SHOW HOW PATRIOTIC THEY COULD BE, AND MAYBE GET A JOB AFTERWARDS.
@bluesscore This year, burn every truck that shows up at the last minute with a bunch of "surprise" votes. Especially if 100% of them are Democrats. No suffrage for Mickey Mouse!
I predict Ron Paul will have the same surge in 2012 that McCain did in 2008 when JM wasn't doing so well then he had this strong comeback which forced strong contenders like Romney & Thompson out of the race. Dr. Paul isn't doing so well now but in the end who'll have the last laugh? Ron Paul will win the GOP nomination. The others are a FAKE. And WTF is Rudy doing by trying this again? Who's responsible for him dropping out early in 2008? Ron Paul. Dr. Paul also had a hand in Thompson quitting.
Well, Ron Paul was a very successful doctor, a very successful businessman, a war veteran, and has never changed his voting record since...when... oh yeah, EVER, sooo maybe there is
and maybe you're just a slave
I'm willing to bet money on both. But according to you, my money is the government's anyway so I guess what I bet doesn't really matter.
@LambChowder1 This year, libertarians are mothers and grandmothers who are tired of war and worried about their future. They include old-school Democrats (not "Progressives") and angry Republicans who see no difference between Bush and Obama, except Obama got us into more debt faster and escalated wars. They include TEA Party people. They include people who find government handouts come with strings. We came in 2010 and MORE are coming in 2012. You might as well join us. Ron Paul, 2012!
tim geitner looks evil. evil people (or persons that is) seem to get hold in all governments. i think it is because the average joe just wants to mind his own business. if the average joe acted like government there would be dead bodies everywhere. government is decay and rotting flesh. thats what they cater to. who else can create a whole industry out of picking through peoples turds???
Ron Paul is vilified by Republicans and Democrats, marginalized by the news media and a clear and present danger to the global elite.
Ron Paul 2012!! True Freedom For ALL!!!! Individual liberty, not Groups, corrupt politicians put us in!! to steal money. And make us hate the other groups. Think Folks;-)) Peace
The Federal Reserve, like any Ponzi scheme, must have new capital or it will collapse. Higher debt limit merely postpones the inherent collapse. The FRBNY handled $8.4 trillion from T-auctions last year and hid the profit from Congress. Is that embezzlement? Ref. 3W scribd dot com message 49040689 RIP OFF BY FEDERAL RESERVE
Ron Paul is an eye doctor; that does not make him knowledgeable of economics.
Moreover, "Libertarians," who oppose regulation, caused the meltdown. So Paul is no one to "school" anyone on anything -- particularly knowledge, truth, and sanity.
The problem is not the Fed; the problem is DEREGULATION -- which is about ALL "Libertarians" are FOR.
@JNagarya Ron Paul didnt deliver babies in his "eye doctor" office. Also Paul is one of the most knowledgeable economic minds in congress. As well as seniority in that matter. Libertarians didnt cause any meltdown considering libertarian policies havent been widely implemented in the last century, let alone the last 50 years. If you are implying that we have had a free market in any recent American period then you are a fucking moron. Government involvement in markets caused the meltdown.
@Jononutoob Really? It was government that forced the entire banking sector to merge investment with retail banking? Was it government that cmpelled Lehman and Bear Stearns to buy tons of tranches? Drop the broken ideology, the free market likes to build itself on toothpicks and smother us in the pursuant wreckage. Not a regulation on the books that isn't a response to some deceptive practice or attempted evasion. I don't like bailouts either but I don't point the finger where it shouldn't be
If the economy cannot regulate mostly on it's own, how do you explain the 1920's? In the 1920's, there was a mini depression but the economy cleaned itself out, and gave us the roaring 20's. When it happened again in the 30's, we had a very different government with nothing but regulation, and this gave us the Great Depression. No regulation is not good at all, but very very limited regulation is great. That is Ron Paul's point.
@daltonj2317 It's really simple: it is not in the nature of greed to regulate itself. And every ethical system on the planet, knowing that, and knowing the destructiveness of unleashed greed, condemn it.
Greed MUST be regulated for the sake of the vast majority that does not indulge in the destructiveness that is greed.
Hahahahaha! - I can't believe it this guy is the head of treasury.. this man has no idea of economics, or if you suggest he has, then he is a top notch fraudster.. Americans get your shit together and wake up.. your being fooled on a daily bases, like no other citizen of this world..!!! This is just fucking unbelieveable.. just remembering his before affiliation with the FED! amusing...
@JNagarya What is the point of regulations if nobody is held accountable for breaking those regulations? Ron Paul wants to break the link between government and big business. Big business wants more regulations to hamper the efforts of its smaller competitors. Big business lobbys, bribes, and blackmails government to remove the most important free market self-regulator - which is 'risk'. Risk is passed onto the taxpayer through bailouts. The next economic crisis will finish the US, maybe 2012.
@klevifusha I'm converted I made a mistake last term and voted for Uncle Tom; Ron Paul has my vote locked up already!..I will write him in if I have too!
Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich together. Google that. Although one is a classic Conservative, and the other is a Liberal, they both truely love America as it was, and both are principled gentlemen. SPREAD THE WORD: TOGETHER THEY CAN WIN!
Register to vote as a Republican, or he CANNOT win the Republican nomination, because YOU will NOT be eligible to vote for him in the PRIMARY! You can still vote however you want in the final election.
WTF is Ron paul talking about? If the #1 problem is that monetary policy was too loose then the answer is tighter regulation. So are you telling that making things even easier for bankers to bet on our financial securities and take out even more insurance on their investments is the solution? Too much regulation? get real the reason why investment banks as goldman sachs got richer with the bailout is because we didn't put enough restrictions on what they can use the money for
@crogromphulous Fear him? Lmao Bankers can swing support to either side within a second. Whoever has the open hand they can swing over to the democrats for regulation loop holes or they can switch to Ron Paul for no regulation and completely control our economy.
Ron Paul is not for "no regulation".. He explains it very clearly, it's about the market regulating(meaning that mostly the fear of failure regulates it)... Right now we have a system where the goverment ensures risk so therefore the criminal bankers do whatever they want because they know the goverment will back them and bail them out..
@xMaXiMuSx The market can't stay a float by itself let alone regulate itself. The corporate world believes government will always try to bail them out, and who could plame them when you Alan Green Span doing that in all his terms as Fed chairman. To regulate themselves lmao, you are just begging for bigger investment banks to the size of monopolies and when they do fail, because they will be greedy enough to overlook fear, they are so big you can expect 80% of the world's wealth gone
no the corporate world CAN"T bail themselves out.. THey need taxpayer money.. It's called bankruptcy laws.. You fail you go to bankurpcy court as the constitution says..
Besides Paul has bene proven right, we had all these so called regulations and they still allow people like Bernie MAdoff and so on..
@xMaXiMuSx The regulatiuons to which you refer were REPEALED during the 1990s, so the regulations that don't exist did not cause the crisis. It's simple: if you repeal speed limits, many will drive too fast and kill ot5hers in the process. The problem is the DEREGULATION of that which had been CRIMES, so now the CRIMES are "legal," and that is what allowed Madoff and other fraudsters to engage in behaviors that tanked the economy for EVERYONE -- EXCEPT THEMSELVES.
@JNagarya It doesn't matter what repealed because what was in the place is the ensurance of risk.. They could do whatever they want because of a goverment guarantee.. There was no fear of failure regulating them and the people who were supposte to be regulating were bought off..
@xMaXiMuSx "Ensuring risk" is the opposite of REGULATION; REGULATION, among other things, PROHIBITED the behaviors that caused the Great Depression. Those regulations were REPEALED during the 1990s, making "legal" behaviors that had been outlawed in successful effort to prevent another Depression.
Paul is not only ANTI-regulation, he is ANTI-GOV'T. By contrast, the Founders were PRO-gov't, which is proven by the fact that they FOUNDED gov't -- which is the first level of REGULATION.
@razz187 I'm not in support of the Federal reserve bank, unelected officials who control the money supply, but I very well do Know them. I've taken Ap's in economics and a 5 on the macro, and am going to Fordham to for undergrad to continue my study in Economics. I've read books as griftopia, too big to fail, supercaptitalism, and many more and know not only the history of the federal reserve but its role today.
@JNagarya Should I start writing essays for you because last i checked we have a 500 character limit to comment on youtube, and I don't feel as if I have to put up multiple comments to prove my points. It's funny that whenever I see a few people argue on youtube, you always see one side have to pull out some grammar or language correction, because hey they have no counter argument when this isn't a thesis or congressional mock hearing of some type. Sorry to upset but I am going to Fordham
@razz187 The problem is the deregulatiojn of the 1990s. The "Libertarians," such as Ron Paul, are talking nonsense, because they are all for the Fed doing as it is doing, and FOR the deregulation that caused the problem, and FOR the get-righ-quick crimes committed by Wall Street. You don't know that becasue you are greedy to be bamboozled.
You dont know antything about the depression, you should Ben Bernanke and start printing money until you run out of trees which is what he thinks should have happened.
I felt stupid everytime ron paul got on TV and i didn't comprehend anything he was saying about the federal reserve and the economy because he only has a minute or two to explain his position. Found a really good site that cleared it up for me. hmscoop.com. Quick overview of banking and the federal reserve. If you're like me it might help to clear it up for you
Not too many years ago, you could go to your local bank and borrow for personal use, upgrade the heating system of your home, or borrow money for a vacation. You would fill out some paper work, wait for a few days, and then receive your money.
Now you have apply for a loan, wait weeks, and have to pay a fee, based on the amount you borrow, to the federal reserve just to get a loan. Your savings is no longer there to help your local community but rather in the vaults of the federal reserve.
Nope, Tim didn't get schooled, Ron looked bad running out of time and failing to get anywhere with his argument. Look, I don't like Geitner, and I LOVE Ron Paul, but there was no "schooling" happening here, so I'm going to thumbs down this video...
The two guys sitting behind Geitner, are there to slit his throat if he slips up and tells the truth. See how they fixate on him every time he starts to explain the workings of the Fed. Hit men for the globalists.
they both are right...the fed does create bubble economies and international regs should concern us
but tim was right that our trading partners bare some of blame, mainly asia countries, pursued montiary policy that kept the dollor strong far too long. this allowed for short term positive feed back, america had subsudies standard of living and foreign courtries exported thier domestic unemployment to america
now we have long term problem of debt and america has weak economy
didn't you know it isn't done by counting the people on unemployment!!! They call people and ask them if they are working!!! They don't care if it is part time or what ever. Then they call a "random" sample of employers and ask if they have hired people....WOW how SCIENTIFIC IS THAT??? my eight year old could do a better job counting.
We already have 20% unemployment in this country now. The media as always, failed to do their research. They just go by the figures from the state unemployment offices. They don't go by the number of people who's unemployment ran out, and were forced to go on welfare. 200,000 more jobs have been created, where? Not in the private sector. They must have hired more IRS goones to make our lives more miserable than they already are, to prepare for the new tax code right around the corner for us.
@pokerplayer232 Tim Geithner was found to have not paid enough taxes and he blamed turbo tax as the reason. This came up when Obama oppointed him US Secretary of the Treasury.
The rich money grubbing douchebags of the world would have Ron Paul killed before they let him ruin their fistfuck of the world, but we won't see that happen since they've corrupted the media into duping the rest of us into thinking the Clintons are good people.
Take away the constitutional power of Congress "to borrow money on the credit of the United States" and this will solve the problems of fraudulent fiat currency, and monetization of government debt through the Federal Reserve system.
@Glenn666, How about the following as an amendment.
The last paragraph of Article I, Section 8, shall have the following added after the word thereof, “excepting laws which impinge upon individual citizens ability to accumulate property, and any which tends to expropriate their wealth.”
The biggest problem for Ron Paul is that most people realize that his policies would lead to an immediate crash. The recovery would be relatively swift, but we've all been babied for so long that we'd never be prepared for anything like what would hit us. The way things are going, things will be much worse eventually, but it will be someone else's problem. Still, you'd have to sell people on the idea that 20% unemployment is necessary, and that's a tough sell.
@surfer53 If we don't make this necessary sacrifice, the fate of this country would inevitably crash anyways. This country was born from and run off of greed and we're just going to end up just as Rome did. The worst part is that the US is only 300 years old and is already about to fail miserably.
That dude cowered. Like a worm.

in this shooter mmo i play, if you suck really bad, people can kick you off their team by majority vote. hackers that cheat and noobs that have no skill are booted from the game. this policy NEEDS to be implemented in government. if you work for the so-called "public" interest, and the public doesn't like you, the public should have that right to boot the suckers out of office. financial crisis could have been avoided years ago under this and tim gethner would have to GTFO & take ben with him.
ThaigerDon 2 months ago
@ThaigerDon true, but callvote in shooters is frequently abused. people "vote spam", which is call votes over and over when noone wants them to. they also call votes on people that they don't like and even sometimes on top players out of jealousy. that's why voting is disabled on most servers.
however, things in govt have become so shitty that i'd be willing to try almost anything...

Ikjyot 4 months ago
@Ikjyot Thank you for the blanket statement, i learned alot.
cincinatus90 4 months ago
@Ikjyot
It's not economists or academics that make up the majority of the voters in the United States. We all have a responsibility to be informed about these issues, and form our opinions as best we can. Many people have begun listening to Ron Paul because he's been saying the same thing for 30 years, and he's been right about the majority of his predictions. He has stirred more thoughtful discussion about economic policy than any other candidate, and that at least is a good thing.
schuur451 4 months ago
@schuur451 Yes, you do have a responsibility to be informed about these issues. That can only happen from "the source", from journals, academics, etc.. Not from politicians who purposely manipulate these facts to get voter support, Ron Paul is not excused in this area. How has he been right about the majority of his predictions? Most of his philosophies would lead to great horror on the American middle class and poor.
Ikjyot 4 months ago
@Ikjyot Great horror to the middle class and the poor...unfortunately that's happening now, despite the planning of the "experts" in their fields. The middle class is shrinking, we have no money for entitlement programs, and wealth is concentrating in the hands of very few due to government favoritism.
schuur451 4 months ago
@schuur451 Actually, the horror would be exponentially worse if not for Obama's policies, and conditions would be considerably better if not for tea party interference. The experts in their fields were always trumped by tea party members. The wealth is concentrated in the hands of the very few because of Republican policies, not Democratic, and specifically your tea party
Ikjyot 4 months ago
@schuur451 . If you want to be fully autonomous from government like Ron Paul, then, don't ever send your kids to public schools, stop driving on public roads and highways, don't go to your town community centre, etc... Also, pull your parents off their medicaid, and social security cheques. No sense in hypocrisy right? If you support Ron Paul, then you should be doing all of the above. If you are participating in even one of those programs, you are not a true Ron Paul'lian.
Ikjyot 4 months ago
@Ikjyot
Fully autonomous from FEDERAL government. And fully isn't the right word either, read the ***ing Constitution. It never ceases to amaze me that the people who oppose Ron Paul or criticize him don't even understand his positions.
eits1986 4 months ago
@eits1986 Fully autonomous from the FEDERAL government. Great, so give individual states the power. I've seen this somewhere before. Ahhh yes, Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine controlling the galaxy with the planets full authority given to the local governors. Yes, that worked out well, and didn't cause a Rebellion?! All jokes aside, your idea of government has never worked according to HISTORICAL fact.
angeloital19 4 months ago
@angeloital19 Emperor Palpatine did not give full authority to local governors, on the contrary he set up a Galactic Empire, with him as supreme dictator. All planets that weren't loyal were assigned imperial governors. Also Sector Governors(Known as Moffs) were appointed by Palpatine, and reported directly to him. They weren't autonomous. The Republic already was a federation, a union of autonomous sovereign planets. Don't use Star Wars references if you don't know what you're talking about.
Etsihcrana 4 months ago
@Etsihcrana you've clearly missed my point.
angeloital19 3 months ago
@angeloital19
But we all want a shiny new car 2-story house.
eits1986 3 months ago
@eits1986 I'd be happy with a newER car and an apartment right now.
DozerfleetProd 3 months ago
@DozerfleetProd
Think about that, and ask yourself, are those what it really takes to make you happy? I sure hope not... Materialism is the reason we are in this hole. You can blame "corporate greed" (not YOU, just generalizing) all you want, but when it comes down to it, when we stop being a producing society and start being strictly a consumer society (which we are now), corporatism and mass poverty are sure to follow.
eits1986 3 months ago
@eits1986 I do believe you misunderstood my intent. The fact is, I'd be content right now to have slightly better than what I have now. Because right now, I'm going back and forth between unofficial live-in male nurse for a grandmother recuperating from surgery and sleeping on a couch in a house taken over by international kids. Even TARGET is sending me "no more openings, sorry" rejection letters for getting a job.
DozerfleetProd 3 months ago
In essence, I don't care if I never get a mansion to my name. But I do want to get my own footing. And right now, I the Fed has made it so impossible for businesses to operate that I can't even get the fundamental things in order to support myself with.
How do you build yourself from the ground up when you're not even allowed ground to stand on?
DozerfleetProd 3 months ago
@angeloital19 I missed your point because I didn't understand it. Saying that a member state of a federation can't be fully autonomous because in the example of the Star Wars universe's New Order, local governors were given fully authority(S), thus the Empire had full control(E), which caused a Rebellion(R). In other words:S is wrong, because E is wrong, because E caused S, which caused R. However you're wrong. S not=E. R was caused by E, not S. Does this make sense? Tell me what I missed.
Etsihcrana 3 months ago
@angeloital19
You make a good point, comparing governmental policy with science fiction fantasy. And yea, I see what you mean, its never worked, especially if you ignore the first two centuries of American history. I suppose your response will be that it doesn't matter because the times have changed, but if you actually RTFM that came with our country you would know that it isn't some antiquated piece of legislation, it very much applies to today.
eits1986 3 months ago
@angeloital19

Socialism for the world!
angeloital19 3 months ago
@angeloital19
Umm... No, they aren't. You should do some research and form your own opinions instead of assuming what you hear on the news is the 100% truth. The UK is falling much faster and harder economically right now than the US, France's GDP is nowhere near that of ours, and Canada's health care system is of much lower quality and, contrary to popular belief, if you are in need of SERIOUS care, you will be on a very long wait list.
eits1986 3 months ago
@angeloital19
As for the higher standard of living... How many people do you know that live in France of the UK? Because I know quite a few, and they all have tiny apartments, no cars, pay way more for clothing and food, and make the same, if not more, than I do here, and many of them have a higher education than I do (I've got a Master's). You should stop looking at statistics, which are almost always collected in different ways across borders, and start researching things for yourself.
eits1986 3 months ago
@eits1986 I know for a fact from a friend of mine in boston that food is generally cheaper in europe, as E.U farm subsidies are ridiculously generous, the reason why they have little apartments is because of green policies which limit expansion into rural areas, on-top of the fact that most of Europe is habitable and settled whereas America has a lot of land which is still underdeveloped and places where land is cheap. What is U.S population density on average? I bet lower than europe...
supersymbiotic 3 months ago

@schuur451 When you have a medical problem, do you go see your elected representative to interpret it for you, or do you go see your doctor? When you have a legal problem, do you go see your local representative, or do you go see a lawyer? For some reason, when it comes to the economy, and finance, no one goes to the experts in the field!
JNagarya 7 months ago

Ron Paul 2012.
daltonj2317 7 months ago
@daltonj2317 It's really simple: it is not in the nature of greed to regulate itself. And every ethical system on the planet, knowing that, and knowing the destructiveness of unleashed greed, condemn it.
Greed MUST be regulated for the sake of the vast majority that does not indulge in the destructiveness that is greed.

@klevifusha Ron Paul is FOR the deregulation that CAUSED the problem.
JNagarya 7 months ago
@JNagarya What is the point of regulations if nobody is held accountable for breaking those regulations? Ron Paul wants to break the link between government and big business. Big business wants more regulations to hamper the efforts of its smaller competitors. Big business lobbys, bribes, and blackmails government to remove the most important free market self-regulator - which is 'risk'. Risk is passed onto the taxpayer through bailouts. The next economic crisis will finish the US, maybe 2012.

So are you telling that making things even easier for bankers to bet on our financial securities and take out even more insurance on their investments is the solution? Too much regulation? get real the reason why investment banks as goldman sachs got richer with the bailout is because we didn't put enough restrictions on what they can use the money for

Ron Paul is not for "no regulation".. He explains it very clearly, it's about the market regulating(meaning that mostly the fear of failure regulates it)... Right now we have a system where the goverment ensures risk so therefore the criminal bankers do whatever they want because they know the goverment will back them and bail them out..
xMaXiMuSx 7 months ago
@xMaXiMuSx The market can't stay a float by itself let alone regulate itself. The corporate world believes government will always try to bail them out, and who could plame them when you Alan Green Span doing that in all his terms as Fed chairman. To regulate themselves lmao, you are just begging for bigger investment banks to the size of monopolies and when they do fail, because they will be greedy enough to overlook fear, they are so big you can expect 80% of the world's wealth gone
batman93oo 7 months ago
@batman93oo
no the corporate world CAN"T bail themselves out.. THey need taxpayer money.. It's called bankruptcy laws.. You fail you go to bankurpcy court as the constitution says..
Besides Paul has bene proven right, we had all these so called regulations and they still allow people like Bernie MAdoff and so on..
xMaXiMuSx 7 months ago
@xMaXiMuSx The regulatiuons to which you refer were REPEALED during the 1990s, so the regulations that don't exist did not cause the crisis. It's simple: if you repeal speed limits, many will drive too fast and kill ot5hers in the process. The problem is the DEREGULATION of that which had been CRIMES, so now the CRIMES are "legal," and that is what allowed Madoff and other fraudsters to engage in behaviors that tanked the economy for EVERYONE -- EXCEPT THEMSELVES.
.
JNagarya 7 months ago
@JNagarya It doesn't matter what repealed because what was in the place is the ensurance of risk.. They could do whatever they want because of a goverment guarantee.. There was no fear of failure regulating them and the people who were supposte to be regulating were bought off..
xMaXiMuSx 7 months ago
@xMaXiMuSx "Ensuring risk" is the opposite of REGULATION; REGULATION, among other things, PROHIBITED the behaviors that caused the Great Depression. Those regulations were REPEALED during the 1990s, making "legal" behaviors that had been outlawed in successful effort to prevent another Depression.
Paul is not only ANTI-regulation, he is ANTI-GOV'T. By contrast, the Founders were PRO-gov't, which is proven by the fact that they FOUNDED gov't -- which is the first level of REGULATION.

@batman93oo you need to look up the federal reserve bank thats the true problem
razz187 8 months ago
@razz187 I'm not in support of the Federal reserve bank, unelected officials who control the money supply, but I very well do Know them. I've taken Ap's in economics and a 5 on the macro, and am going to Fordham to for undergrad to continue my study in Economics. I've read books as griftopia, too big to fail, supercaptitalism, and many more and know not only the history of the federal reserve but its role today.
batman93oo 7 months ago
@batman93oo You're not sufficiently literaste in the language to be accepted by any legitimate college or university, especially such as Fordham.
JNagarya 7 months ago
@JNagarya Should I start writing essays for you because last i checked we have a 500 character limit to comment on youtube, and I don't feel as if I have to put up multiple comments to prove my points. It's funny that whenever I see a few people argue on youtube, you always see one side have to pull out some grammar or language correction, because hey they have no counter argument when this isn't a thesis or congressional mock hearing of some type. Sorry to upset but I am going to Fordham
batman93oo 7 months ago

This Geithner is really cocky arrogant! He's a dumb, a criminal, but what it's worse he thinks he's so smart. He is narcissistic.

@mattbrun You "like Geithner"... Thanks for causing me to throw up in my mouth.

Notice everyone listens to Ron Paul, they all know he's right, geitner just squirmes and talks around the answer praying for his time to expire.

KrunchMonster1 9 months ago
We already have 20% unemployment in this country now. The media as always, failed to do their research. They just go by the figures from the state unemployment offices. They don't go by the number of people who's unemployment ran out, and were forced to go on welfare. 200,000 more jobs have been created, where? Not in the private sector. They must have hired more IRS goones to make our lives more miserable than they already are, to prepare for the new tax code right around the corner for us.
jlwarner7 9 months ago
Turbo tax needs to go. The Fed needs to be audited.

Take away the constitutional power of Congress "to borrow money on the credit of the United States" and this will solve the problems of fraudulent fiat currency, and monetization of government debt through the Federal Reserve system.

perjanan 11 months ago
The biggest problem for Ron Paul is that most people realize that his policies would lead to an immediate crash. The recovery would be relatively swift, but we've all been babied for so long that we'd never be prepared for anything like what would hit us. The way things are going, things will be much worse eventually, but it will be someone else's problem. Still, you'd have to sell people on the idea that 20% unemployment is necessary, and that's a tough sell.
surfer53 11 months ago
@surfer53 If we don't make this necessary sacrifice, the fate of this country would inevitably crash anyways. This country was born from and run off of greed and we're just going to end up just as Rome did. The worst part is that the US is only 300 years old and is already about to fail miserably.
