Not enough batteries my ass, you guys do understand that those flashlights aren't the ones you buy at walmart and the flashlight can run for 120 hours on a single pair of batteries on 12 lumens ( brighter than your average flashlight). To NgJackal1990, I grew up in Paris and the French government is trying hard to close down ALL the entries! It is actually illegal to explore these tunnels (except in the Catacombs Museum), and people do get fines! There are police that patrol the tunnels too.

This video is grossly exaggerated. Any videotape that would be left down there (as well as any electronic equipment) would be ruined if left there for more than a day - everything down there is damp. And these idiots in the film are making it seem way more dangerous than it really is. The scary music, the bones, the fact that they claimed to not have enough batteries...ridiculous. Don't talk about something you have no idea whatsoever about.

They seem to forget to mention that the catacombs are filled with tons of other explorers on any given night and it's really unusual to not run into one at least once every hour. They also forget to mention that all of the 'lower levels' are completely filled with water and thus rendered inaccessible, drastically reducing the amount of navigable tunnels.

Very few people have the maps of Paris Catacombs, there's the Brigade des Sapeur Pompier de Paris (Firemen) who are a military corp,they're also the only to be allowed to get there regularly for their training, there's the Gendarmerie Nationale, which is a military corp too, and other military corps... it is a very secret document to prevent people from earning it, it could be used for bad things such as terrorism...

Now that Ive read about the psycho murderer it looks like a woman in a white dress... You might have to pause a cpl times but its there(but only for a split second) and right before he drops it....

@djscottdog1 Its not been built as an evil thing. When Paris started growing very quickly in past, lot of people lived there, and lots of people died. Cemetaries were loaded and there was no space for new dead bodies, so they decided to use old quarry underground tunnels to store the bones. And of course, they didnt just throw the bones in, they put them in place so it would look nice, kinda like a big tomb.

The whole Paris underground is like a Swiss cheese, there's old quarries digged from the time Paris was named Lutèce to the end of the 19's century, on several levels ; there's the Métropolitain's network of tunnels and stations ; there's the sewer's networks (it can be visited like the Catacombs) ; some of the tunnels have 3 meters height, there are bizarre wide rooms whose usefulness has long since been forgotten. All the networks are connected, the connections stimes r sealed, smtimes not...

This story is fabricated. The Catacombs are busy as hell most nights and the main routes are well travelled. The Ossuary where they found the bones, and the white man on the wall are very close to the entrance. Some nights you can't go more than 1km in there without meeting other cataphiles. If someone went missing down there in modern times, they'd have to go a damn sight further than was evidenced in the video to "never be seen from again".
