Every few weeks I have a day or two where I obsess over this video. Thank you so much for posting. :)

He's been singing this song everywhere, and I'm taking it as a good sign that it'll be on the next album. This and "Is It Over" are my two favorite Kris songs. :)

This is beautiful ... Kris' emotion in every song is so raw I'm surprised he hasn't yet collapsed from drawing again and again from his emotional well. I was riveted by the song, the performance, and Kris' soul.

Just need some piano/keyboard maybe to soften the instrumentation? Perhaps a tad shorter, for the radio?

@calarkie U R right when you say Kris has raw talented and can put out amazing music if he is truely involved with what goes into the album. I have Kris' pre-idol cd "Brand New Shoes". IMO the cd is absolutely fantastic. Wow that Kris wrote the songs & produced it before idol.Wow, 2 me BNS is the first album and the KA cd is the second album. Yes, I agree Kris is a very talented Singer / songwriter. I wish for him to continued success in what he says he loves to do.

@ginny90631 U R so right too! I think Kris has sooo' much soul, passion, etc...and would love to hear what he comes up with next. Yes, I've heard his BNS cd that he came out with before his Idol days. It's got some great songs and some so-so. Kris himself said that he has so much more after his college days of BNS. What I love is his passion, heart and soul that he puts into every performance. He has never been about standing out, but creating great music that people can relate to.

I think being the leader of this fantastic band is releasing creativity, emotions, and talents from sources deep in Kris' soul. It's as though he has found a musical home. There's no limit to where they can go.

@raythespian You know what raythespian... you and I have agreed and disagreed about Kris over the past couple of years but I have to say, I love your comment. I think Kris and his band have so much potential and finding that 'home' space is so relevant in doing so. He's a raw talent, great voice, and I think he could do so much in the music industry. The problem with today's music is Kris is too 'normal'. It seems what sells today is over the top, auto tuned, loud garbage.

@ginny90631 I think if Kris gets the opportunity to cut an album that he is fully involved with and can push aside the dumb PTB that made him rush through an album he was not truly happy with, he could put out some amazing music. I have no doubt that he has it in him to do that, I just hope he gets the opportunity because he's a raw talent and deserves to be showcased. I'll listen to his music as long as he puts it out there.

What a treat! I think this video shows off one of the great strengths of Kris' writing; the focus on melody. Even after one listen on a YouTube video, the tune is memorable. And he sings the hell out of it. It seems that Kris is developing a taste for surprising his devoted fans who seem to know everything almost before he does. Let's hope it continues!
