I thought that was something a bit different, not too commercial. I have been to Taby Gallop just outside Stockholm and the Swedes do enjoy their racing. I am not fan of the trotting as i think it is unatural because horses were "born to run"

yea i think they wanted to capture the power and grace of the horse.. but they should not have included wild horses running... it shows how mankind has "captured" the spirit of the horse :(

Oh nice! Shod "wild horses" at the very first seconds... And horses decide to go to the city. On their own ofcourse... Although city is the most unnatural enviroment for horses... aaaaand a stressed out trotter salivating like hell. Did the horses evolve to run mouth opened and foaming?

@rotansilversplash it does NOT come natural to them. They don't learn it easily. Lol... it takes years to adapt and manipulate the way they walk before the walk resembles anything "natural"

Pacing is cruel and should be banned. To force a horse to pace, is inhumane.

@rotansilversplash if it were natural then why do they have to be trained to pace??? it is natural for a horse to go from trot to canter. the pace a horse and force it to hold it around a track puts a lot of strain on the joints and tendons, if it were natural, the effect would be less severe.

@aeon4x4 it actually doesnt strain their joints, if it did, they would not do it, pacing, yes they have to learn it, but once learnt, it is extremley easy for pacers, what about the horses that do that movement, foret what its called, and its a certain breed and they do tiny tiny strides, they have to learn that, but it comes naturally to them, you dont know shit about pacing, i do, so stop trying to sound like your a smart arse..

@aeon4x4 ok, so you might be a vet, but there are different sorts of vets, im very close to my vets, who also tend to racehorses and trotters , i know alot about race horses and trotters, oh and i just want to see you answer this, if you are a vet, what is the sesimode in a horse, you will most likely look it up, because who am i to stop you, it has no strain on this horses, they pull a lightweight cart, and there gait comes naturally to them, no straint! otherwise they wouldnt deliever.

@rotansilversplash i've had horses all my life. horses have 3 natural gates. anything more than that is NOT natural. @aeon4x4 BUT that doesn't necessarily mean that it's bad for them. My horses are Tennessee Walking Horses. We teach them a flat and dog walk, thus adding a 4th and 5th gate. This harms them in NO WAY. (By the way, if anyone wants to comment on the bad things that have been done in the Tenn. W. horse industry, you don't have to tell me. I've been an advocate for better treatment.)
