During a concert by Yesudas, the compere said, that Lord Guruvayoorappan woke up to Yesudas's melodious voice and Lord Ayyappan goes to sleep after listening the Yesudas's Harivarasanam. Do I have to say anything more. We are very lucky to get the opportunity to hear this great song by this great singer.

This is indeed Revagupthi and not bhoopalam. The Arohana and Avarohana for bhoopalam is S R1 G1 P D1 S and S D1 P G1 R1 S. Revagupthi is S R1 G2 P D1 S and S D1 P G2 R1 S. In the case of bowli it is S R1 G2 P D1 S and S N2 D1 P G2 R1 S. These are the positions of swaras

Utterly frustrated by the manipulations of "Mother of all Multinational company" - The East Company and their local pinions, the unscrupulous "Nattupramanis" (local chiftains) Maharaja Swathi Thirunal turned to Lord PADMANABHA and prays "Oh Gopalaka ! I submit myself unto thy feet , protect me for ever". These lovely Keerthana in Sanskrit in Raga Bhupalam was rendered melodiously by Ganagandharvan. Thank you for uploading this beautiful Keerthanam !!

True... but this I believe this keerthana is set to Bowli as you can hear a Kakali Nishadam in avarohana.
