  • east or west taekwondo is the best game all over the world

  • east or west taekwondo is the best game all over the world

  • That spacific form they are doing in the begining is 3rd degree black belt form. I really need to learn that form because that is the degree I am.

  • just got my 1st degree black belt 3 days ago and I am going to continue to use this martial art. TAE KWON DO RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is the best martial arts video out there, period. REAL breaking and REAL sparring. (none of that "no hitting the head" crap here!) The break at 3:49 is extremely bad-ass, my hats off to the athletes here.

  • Taekwondo beautiful :D

  • @FuRioN565 Doesn't matter.

  • @FuRioN565 No other martial art is more superior than other. and u must respect that as a martial artist :) peace out

  • @ngayonnaba agree..its the attitude of a practitioner that makes all the difference..

  • i think the team pattern is like a dance number

  • True fighters are the most dicciplined people on earth. FACT!

  • caraka os cara luta heim

  • It's the best TeakwonDo vid, which I've ever seen!

  • Ahhhhhh, my favourite. I always have to return here to relax myself.

  • the self defence part is in jackie chan style xD. the verry first video is sooo beautiful

  • omg. THIS is REAL tae kwon do. the shit they teach me at my place doesn't help at all. I used to do it, but i quit since i didn't like the way i was taught. well, it was taught poorly to me. but after seeing this video, i seriously wish i was taught like this in the past. im now moving on to krav maga though. great video by the way.

  • i used to do TA-WON-DO but i quit because i had a head ache. But TA-WON-DO is fun and it teaches you how to fight

  • Wow! There are some really impressive performances here, and the way this video is assembled (sequencing, music, etc.) is very well done. Thanks!

  • WOW AWESOME REALLY I LOVE IT

IM A TAEKWONDOIN IM NOW WHITE BELT WITH YELLOW

  • damn ITF is SICK... is the difference basically between the two that there's no headgear in itf and they basically allow punching KOs? someone inform me

  • @Ne3emA

Punching ko's arent allowed in ITF.

  • @Ne3emA

    Punching ko's arent allowed.

Children and juniors CAN wear headge

  • @Ne3emA I think ITF is the most humane art of TKD, Also the original

  • @Ne3emA there are a huge amount of difrences between itf and wtf ive done both, wtf alot more gear no face punches ussualy either get hit and loose a point or u hit them u gain a point each time a point is aqured or lost u must stop match and restart, Itf less gear ussualy just hands and feet no stop other than if there is a penalty ie low kick hit to the back... and u can punch to the face in itf if u want non stop fighting with alot of punches and kicks i would say itf

  • @Ne3emA but if u would prefer precise beutifully executed kicks go wtf

  • look this good tkd video!! thanks =]

    /watch?v=xC9D-0gu_dQ

  • is he still alive choi hong lol i 4gt :S

  • @ExZiiOACiiDZz No he died in, yr 2002

  • Geil alta

  • Well, the “exile” and flight to Canada; Chung Moo Kwon and more — much, much more... “I have a rhetorical question”: ‘ritzphil’ “Where you there, Charlie”, or, are you looking at photo ops and relying on either hearsay or revisionisms of history? Are you 55 or better because if this is not the case — you, couldn’t have primary source to backup your blather. Exiles, and “goodwill trips”, you never heard the crime of treason or of the criminal and rogue dictatorship now deemed N. Korea.

  • ahhh tkd so fucking awesome

  • nice compilation, like the video, not too keen on the music :-)

  • @pearcemark yeah, that "self-defense demo" wouldn't do shit in the real world. You jump in the air like that and you're essentially a paper ball waiting to be swatted.

  • well i'm seing this now..looks cool and i think its even good for me :P

less game more movement in my free time :P

my gf doing taekwon-do and she is going to elarn some basics to me first to se if i like.

  • taekwondo is my life

  • 1:49 was my favorite part of the of whoole vid.

  • the best taekwondo video i ever watched! 5/5

  • 何だろう、このユルユルした動きは。手の間合いで、わざわざ足を使うしかないのか。ちょっと残念

  • what is the nameof the song that starts when it´s sparring??

    GREAT vid by the way

  • This team rules.Fantastic.

  • @hece1111 Nah. If they were THAT good I'd have seen them and the USA World International Martial Arts Championships or some other large open tournament. Clearly these videos were all from TKD only tournaments.

  • itf is awsome

  • EL TAEKWONDO ES GNAIL !! NO HAY DUDA

  • The beginning of this song makes me cry... and I dont know why

  • wot is the name of the song used ??????

    the vid was amazing

  • song ??

  • Very good video!!! I love it!

  • look this good tkd video!!!! :)

    watch?v=BdO2LJ_v5w8

  • I have heard that some people think that breaking boards are waste of time. I think that they have oversighted something:

    1. It hardens yourr fists and other striking parts.

    2. It helps you overcome fear of hurtin your arms.

    3. it´s so friggin fun to break boards.

  • you got it right there! :)

people these days seem to think any kind of exercise is hard and tedious.. but they so wrong.

  • @Pohjoisennuijamies :( i dont have any boards to break .. im so sad :(

  • @Pohjoisennuijamies The boards you break are also the density of certain bones.

  • @Pohjoisennuijamies i think the same thing :)

  • @Pohjoisennuijamies ok but still is.

  • @Pohjoisennuijamies agree and its not even that easy to break a board especially with 1 technique when u have to break it with the tip of ur fingers

  • OMFG!! at the time 3:51 seconds a teen or a 20's girl broke 2 bricks!!!!!!! WITH HER BARE HANDS!!!!!!

  • thumbs up right? from littlemissmelol

  • @Pohjoisennuijamies Damn right :D I was shitting it when I had to break my first board but it's actually really handy if you focus enough!

    Man I fucking love taekwondo!

  • @Pohjoisennuijamies but as the wise bruce lee said boards dont hit back

  • @Pohjoisennuijamies I think you guys break boards simply because of #3 (it's fun). There are plenty of other ways to harden your fists or other parts of the body or to overcome hurting your fists ... e.g. Thai boxers use palm trees or regular trees with minimal padding (not to scratch the skin) :-)

  • damn man i get tired so soon even after sparring

i cant believe after looking at this video i really like their stamina

  • Perfeição em detalhes..

    o melhor vídeo de Taekwondo.

  • damn wtf man, use some other music, this is crap

  • what tittle song in last video.....5:20..plssss...tell me...i like that song....can i download?

  • Many thanks for an inspirational video. Many of our students have been encouraged by it.

  • entertaining but thats all it is. i have never found tkd to be a good form of self defense. i guess its better then nothing but i would rather take muy thai and bjj (which i do) for self defense. good vid though.

  • Nice video, tkd is my way of life.

  • what's the name of the first song? Can't find it in the discription. And TKD FTW :p

  • Just without sine wave I meant to say.

  • I became a 1st Dan in less than a year in UTI (Unified TaeKwon-Do International). It was only because I've trained before in another style. However, going from 1st to 2nd Dan i had to wait a year, from 2nd to 3rd Dan i had to wait 2 years. I am currently stilla 3rd Dan and I can't test again until 2012 for 4th Dan. My time may get cut by 6 months just because I train under a Grandmaster Instructor and plus I own my own school also. We perform the same katas as ITF just with sine wave.

  • I did tae kwon do for 10 years, never took the black belt test. Cost $1000! So I said fuck it. I'm doin muay thai now. Hella funny when I spar muay thai people, they don't understand all the kicks that I am using, they pretty much only have 2 kicks, front kick and roundhouse. No one stretches too in Muay Thai. No art is superior, I learned a lot from TKD and learning more techniques in Muay Thai.

  • $1000.00? Daaaaaamn!! Our black belt test only ost $180.00, 2 Dan is $250, 3rd Dan is $350 so on and so forth. Where did you train in TKD?

  • mine is $100 and for each dan its $50

  • @palkumchi I just did I DAN yesterday and it was $190, the else is right.

  • congratulations

  • Thanks you :)

  • Yeah i did sanshou over the summer and a similar thing happend

  • fuckin awesome

  • ITF owned ... olimpic TK suck

  • Errrrr......i go on both kung fu toa anatoa and taekwondo and a little karate....i just started..

  • I am not much on TKD. But I rate ITF TKD over the WTF style any day.

    Nice video.

  • Me neither but I started taking itf and it great none of that point sparring stuff

  • Just a fucking lousy old ass

  • Have you heard of lightfoot?rauldeva......you know it is real i swear to god, you can learn it.....more like train it.....if ya reading this plz answer.....its pretty good to learn it..i will tell you a secret later....if you read this lol.

  • THANK YOU :)

  • you know TKD is not something to play with or be proud of when you only train 1-3 hours each week.......i am fighting me way to the top....dont laugh but i am an white belt and i am gonna get yellow belt and i work 4 hours each day and i am kinda gonna be an master in 2-3 years....the first 4 days they teached me Ap chagi and i mastered it perfectly 2 days later....my teacher mouth was in his ass when i showed him!! so dont say like i am best i train 8 hours each week.....ok start learning!!!!!!

  • you dont train 1-3 hours a week you can do as much as you want. master in 3 years my ass

  • Hello! I'm glad you're so enthusiastic, if you keep it up you're gonna be a very good martial artist.but master in ITF TKD is a person of 7th or 8th degree black belt. you might achieve 1st DAN in about 3 years, but the ITF rules make it phisically impossible to becaome a master(7th dan) so soon. I'm a 1st DAN in ITF TKD and aiming to go as high as possible. keep up the good work, all the best wishes.

  • THanks for uploading!!!!!

  • song names? plx

  • "God is a girl"

  • Name of songs pl< ?

  • AWESOME VID

  • can anyone finally tell what the song at about 5min is. this korean like choire sounding track??. it bothers me that i dont know that :D

  • yo soy mejor ke ellos jajajaja yo sui sinta negra kinto dan a an que no me crean

    yo si soy profesional

  • WTF isnt the prez of dere grand master s t choe if it iz i no him

  • Kihap is a form of breathing technique, that lets you exert the energy within your body to a specific point. i.e the point of impact. One of the best fighters in the World (Bruce Lee) and many other great fighters use this technique.

if done correctly it makes all the difference and protects the abdomen from injury as well as helping deliver powerful blows and has beens scientifcly proven. i teach this to all my students and i have a black belt in three differennt disciplines

  • I'm an ITF 4th Dan of 24 years training. Have attended seminars with Gen Choi & his son. SherKhanOkay you are confused. Sinewave is, as in maths (google it), the up & down wave movement of the body. It increases power by using gravity finishing the move in downward motion. Breath control is what you hear on each move - it increases power focused at moment of impact. Kihap is a louder shout, though often done at the end of a pattern doesn't merely signify this. It's purpose is as baycobra84 says.

  • hello everyone I don't do Tea kwon do. But i do over arts you do the (tssss) noise as you put it, in this art I think it is call a (Kinhup). Its help you breath when you are punching and kicking you forget about it and you tier out hell lot quicker. As well it makes you relaxed so you punch and kick harder and quicker. When you are not relaxed and you are tens it takes more engine to move and you are a lot slower.

  • its called breath, kihap is a spirit yell lol

  • in itf punch to the head is ok?

  • yup, In itf you can punch anywhere above the belt, including the head

  • Comment removed

  • please, say me title of the second song!!!!

the video is fantastic... I do karate, and i like very much the TAEKWON-DO!..

    thenks in every chance!

  • oohh it makes sense now why xxjOmAmMaXx is disrespectful- he's a wtf practitioner... in jealously, lack of experience/knowledge and ignorance... crusade on xxjOmAmMaXx...

    TAE KWON!!!

  • Acrobatics are amazing

  • :OOOO

  • xjomam, that's not true... i'm not sure how it is where u train, but in many gyms, including boxing, muay thai, mma, karate, etc. you're taught to make those sounds when u are punching or kicking a lot so that u remember to breathe because when people are fighting, one thing they forget to do is breathe so they lose energy. go ahead and search here on youtube of people training. u will hear the same sounds when they're heavily sparring.

  • lol i know that, i didnt say it was necessarily useless. but in a demo it is frowned upon i feel. i yell when i spar but not that lame little "ssss" sound

  • that is right but i wht i tihnk is tat screamign gives you a more strong strike but it will wear you down but the ss sound is wht i do

  • the self defence part is pretty damn good i must say

congrats to the guy doing it

  • cool video

  • It doesn't matter what the sound is as long as you concentrate on breaths in using your diaphram and pushed out forcefully after each strike and block. don't you even listen to boxers train. Every hit there is that sound of air getting forced out. That is natural power being used.

  • Wow, I don't practice ITF either. But breathing is an essential part of any martial art; even boxing. If you don't train to use your diaphram to generate power and conserve energy. You are working agianst yourself.

  • You're a numpty

  • In your oppinion. And unfortunately it's not always your oppinion that counts.

  • The whole 'snake sound' thing IS for more power IF you know how and when to use it. Please do not put yourself above others and put down their systems. Every fighter has his own beliefs and he is not a true warrior until he can accept other's beliefs. If you don't think the 'snake sound' works, don't use it. Do not comment if you do not know what you are talking about.

  • This "cheating" your talking about is a load of shite. No ITF practitioner, breathes like this during patterns for memorization of movements or co-ordination, but for MAXIMUM power, forget about all that crap you've been taught or thought up, because its wrong. And you can think that ITF is a joke all you want, but thats a bad choice to be making.

  • omg mate you have no idea.

any real student that did ITF long enough knows that its all about mind and body

many martial arts dont teach you to use your body in full to deliver maximum speed and power

breath control is only a small part of that

its not about how loud you hell

it may put a tiny bit of fear in a weak opponent if that.

its the tensing of your core that delivers power from the center of the mass

you can argue the point further with ITF masters but that'd be a "bad choice"

  • It has nothing to do with co-ordination

  • wrong, it does they memorize the timing of each exhalation for each movement so they are better coordinated

  • Comment removed

  • you have no idea what your talking about

  • lol but i do.

  • anyone know the name of the song plz ?

    btw exelent vid XD

  • si para ti la itf es poco contacto pos nose que es puro contacto tolete

  • can someone *please* tell me why the practicioners sound like steam trains?

  • because they dont have any real coordination. they use the use the stupid sound for memorization. you dont use it in demos if you do. there is nothing impressive (basically cheating)

  • Nerd, it's impressive, this takes very long to do right.

  • yeah it tkes a long time, if they devote so much time then they shouldn't need the stupid sound for coordination. so in the end you prove nothing but prove my point further. thanks :D

  • The sound is their breath, breathing out on the moment of impact helps to create maximum power along with other aspects of the movements, i don't know what gave you that idea

  • yeah it does help for power, but it is also for coordination. in a demo like this you dont necessarily need power, just sharp movements, which dont require yelling, exhaling, or whatever you do. the breathing you talk about is for contact or where a point of contact should be. ie. breaking bricks etc, or sparring.

  • What would be the point of demonstrating a pattern with no power? Also are you saying that the main purpose of the breaths are for co-ordination, if so then why do you use the breath when demonstrating a pattern alone? You should always exhale on the moment of impact, even when your practicing.

Finally, have you ever practiced ITF Taekwon-do?

  • You're a fucking idiot. How the hell do you cheat in a pattern? They do it to keep energy and exert power using the diaphragm otherwise they'd be extremely tense whilst doing it theyre controlling their breathing and look at them theyre all black belts they dont need to cheat you idiot think before opening your mouth

  • lol i was so done with conversation so long ago. but ok. its cheating because in order to know the pattern they make the sound for better memorization and rhythm. rhythm makes everything easier. even children could do this if you gave them a song to go with it. its not the effectiveness of the sound on the person. its the effectiveness on the demo. also i cant open my mouth online because this is typing not talking. :D cheers

  • Breathing helps relax your body. When we do our patterns we realax/breathe then tense up right at the last minute, this causes us not to tire easily and if your match timing is on (breathing the same time you execute a movement) you create more power. Also in combat breathing lets all the air out of your body so if you do take a hit(like to the abdomen) it wont hurt as much.

  • but we're not talking about combat here :D we're talking about demonstration and form. i breathe when i do my forms :D all humans breath. but i dont need to go "tsss" for power or relaxation. because i know how to do so without it

  • wow. best video ever. :)

  • it make me vitality!!!

  • Thats pure skills

  • awesome!!!!! X D

  • Ya know I here all these people saying TKD isn't a real marital arts and that WTF is nothing but a "martial sport" to those of you who are saying that I'd like to get you into the ring using any style of martial arts you want against my WTF training. A martial art....ANY MARTIAL ART, is only as good as the practioner. They all have their ups and downs to other styles so get a life and get in a dojang if you dont believe me.

  • damn teakwondo ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • TKD is not a martial art. Martial comes from Mars, the god of war, so then martial arts means an art suitible for war. in the case of TKD, its a sport, a game where you try ot score points, there are rules that remove any chance of lethality, so therefor cant be called a martial art. the techniques are designed to score points by hitting the body sheilds quickly and hence wint the game. power is secondary and even frowned apon. McDojos where you go for a McBlackbelt

  • It's more then just a game dickfuck. theres a differince between competition fighting and using it in a real fight. so go fuck yourself with your smart ass remarks

  • you are talking about olympic style TKD that is WTF not true pure TKD which is ITF.

ITF Taekwondo is definatley not a sport but a way of life and self defence. Any martial art that does not let you hit to the head is flawed.

  • wrong did you see any body shields in the sparing matches at the end? no. and would you want to be hit by a full power kick/punch from any of them? no

TKD ITF is not a sport. its an art that was designed for unarmed combat

  • oh yeah sparring with no shields huh? So if the techniques are so great how can you spar without the need for armor. Surely using such powerful techniques with no gear on would cause serious injury?
