@AdiFukinT you need to not save it as txt. or any other text file. Removing the extension may work of the file may work.

Open up the Call Of Duty Folder (where you find main etc)

Along the taskbar of that window you will see ' Compatibility Files '

@Schnikerdoodle You may have to reinstall to get it, but most likely you didn't go to the correct directory. If you are using windows 7, i have no idea what you can do because i dont have it lol. But you must go where you installed the game.

@MaplerA I actually did find the file. There was a button that read, "Compatibility Files" up near the top of the window. I clicked on that, it showed me the, "players" folder, and I was done. Thanks for the response, and good video.

start => type in Regedit, Seach the "Wow6432Node" Folder ( its in the Software folder like the desicription told you) and there you can find Activision => Call of Duty 4

Ok, I downloaded the mpdata file using google chrome.

I typed in regedit and replaced my CD kay with the one at the website...

I go to players and my name, i recyceled everything but the mods folder, and copy and replaced the mpdata file with the new one. I started CoD4 and it said Error: Your stats have been reset due to error. WTF?!? Now im level 1. With nothing... I tried redoing it and the samething happened. What am I doing wrong? PLEASE REPLY
