Have you got any info about the flat-cars? I'm assuming they're just over 60-foot, but they look pretty heavy-duty and relatively high deck-level compared to UK and US flats...
@ProcessVariable I saw some Sg(n)s (60ft, 55 tons loading capacity on C-burden) and Sggmrs (80ft, 90ft, max. 100 tons loading capacity on C-Burden). These are the most common intermodal flatbed cars. In Holland Lgns (2 axle 40/45ft, 28T loading capacity) and Sgmmns (40ft, 4 axle, 55 tons loading capacity) wagons are also quite common.
I know US flatbeds can carry much more, but it's hard to compare US-railways with European Railways (completely different regulations)...

That's how freight moves around the world nowadays. Some of them rode in a boat from Japan, got taken to L.A. and loaded onto a double stack container train, hauled to Newark and loaded on another boat to England.
The newer Class 66's or JT2CWR now came with 3,245 HP.If you see an M- that means it has been modified.
They are expected to be seen in Great Britian,Sweden,Belgium,Luxemborg,Germany,Denmark,Netherlands and Poland, with cross-boarder running into areas stated with additions to Czech & Slovak Republic & France.
A thing most seem to forget is that sounding the horn for all public grade crossings is a North American rule. Other countries don't have 19000 tons 2.5 mile long trains. Aussie's run some long ones ... but not as often as we do here.

It just seems strange to ee the Class 66's in Europe as well under all those different Railway liveries. Even though the basic design is over 22 years old. Although the design of the class 59's that these derived from were based on a locomotive design thats even older than those, the Class 52 Western Hydraulics. Great Video.. Just for the record.... I love them sounding there horns... for the videotographers. Hentis 220407

Class 66's when built stand up to the Hoselight on an SD40-2.One the ACC's they are blow that by almost 2 feet.
Small by comparison, but with just as much power output than the North American.
I believe the Newer 66's and 67's have about 3,00 to 5,000 HP.
