@guillexparodiax The Harpoon move was B+B+HP. The fatality move was BLOCK+UP+UP (sweeping distance from your opponent).

Never used the spear coz in MK 1 its always blocked or missed just leaves u open for them to hit u

I have played MK1 in a series of emulators but i have to admit that the arcade version seems to have by far the best graphics.

How do you do his special moves? I love MK, but I don't know how to do the special moves: Fatality, his spear out of his hands (<3), and his disappear act at 0:27. Can anyone please tell me his moves, that would be nice

Cool video, Especially with Scorpion kicking all of their asses. And i agree 360 pads are awkward, because i cant seem to do any fatality on MK v DC, because the D-Pad is so awkward.

By the way, what was the code for Scorpion's Toasty fatality in the original game again?

Scorpion's fatality in the first MK is to stand about sweeping distance away, hold block and push up twice.

Thanks for the sympathy on the 360 pad, wish I could find the perfect controller for this. I might try a Playstation controller as suggested below.

This is an emulator on the PC using an original arcade rom and Mame.

I use a USB adaptor, which means I can play with the Xbox pad on a PC.

a cool little combo you can use if you dont know to work over the computer better is a very late deep jump kick into a spear then a uppercut. Timing is crucial but its worth it if you can get it to work.

i love the first 2 mortal kombats just because they keep scores. i like trying to beat my highs. just something small. but awesome video! Fu** those haters!

Congratulations on winning, but you missed way too many spear chances and combos for this to be a demonstration of much skill. The AI is well known to suck, allowing jump kick after jump kick. Step up your game.

As I say in the description, it's not the best I've played but it will do, I don't claim that this is a 'master class' in Mortal Kombat.

Fair comments though. I know a bad workman blames his tools, but I am using an Xbox 360 pad to play it with an analogue stick and sometimes the moves just don't seem to come out 100% of the time. I have the same problem with Sub Zero's freeze and fatality in my other video.

@sparkybabes Controller errors are especially prevalent on the Wii. When performing super moves and upper half circle motion or a lower half circle motion will be misread by the sensor bar as side to side motion.
