Local groups that have a single pastor over them are out of the Word of God. Local groups always had Elders/Overseers, and never a single Pastor. The single pastor system comes from the Catholic church, and was inherited down through the Protestant movement without ever being questioned like it should have. It is the cause of ALL KINDS of ills, and needs to go on the trash heap like the rest of the Catholic practices.

I am sorry, but the covenant church is a hateful and judgemental denomination. i have had nothing but bad fortune with them and they are NOT christian by all means!

They do not like the LGBQT community and they are against gay marriage. The Episcopal Church and the Unitarian Universalist Church are the true church because they DO NOT judge people and they are open minded something of which the covenant church is NOT!

@toonguy06 God is against the lgbqt community and gay marriages. If you ever take time to read your bible you would know that. God doesn't accept sin he commands you to come out from among them and be ye separate. This is indeed a true church
