  • That's how the Irish work:

    - You step on my turf and...God help you.

    - You harm innocent people and...they will be avenged.

    - You harm friends of mine and...nothing can help you.

This is the Irish code against the British. And the just code against crime.

  • @slapshot37GNR ROFL wanna bout the green street hooligans or somethin like that anyway they were irish and fought like no reason lol

  • what movie is this from??

  • @ligelige11 boondock saints 1 and theres a 2nd

  • Casey Anthony's nightmare.

  • This movie is perfect for this song!!!!

  • This is awesome. This Is music. This Is skill.... at beat, a guitar, vocal, A story that makes sense. A tune that sends a message. Who ever put this video together with the song, did an excellent job.

  • i love this song. i love this move. i love this video. i love you...

  • I want to film a music video like this with my new Canon 5D Mark II

  • WELL DONE! TOTALLY CHANGES THE TONE OF THE MOVIE.A INTERESTING WAY TO RE-INVIGORATE A SOMETHING DATED.

  • leave it to Johnny Cash to include religion in a song and make it awesome

  • The Family Prayer

    "And Shepherds we shall be

For thee, my Lord, for thee.

Power hath descended forth from Thy hand

Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.

So we shall flow a river forth to Thee

And teeming with souls shall it ever be.

In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti."

  • @vanthecan welcome to the family

  • To whoever done this........Job most EXCELLENTLY done!!!

  • so beautifully done. thank you for the entertainment

  • @SamO4rmWestHtwn

id like to see lil wayne top this.

  • i like how you used the table conversation.. in the movie to justify why this movie and song go together..... "that someone should just go kill those mother fuckers"

  • seeing the saints in black and white made them look even more badass then before... wow

  • I am glad they used scenes from the first movie as I felt the sequel did not do anyone justice...

  • the 11 people who liked this take it in the ass

  • the ww people who dislike this take it in the ass

  • damn padre

  • Perfect choice of song and lovely video :)

  • The patience of the saints endures to the end. The rest of us plead for Justice! So many nights I beg God for a mere wisp of that patience to endure and therefor earn that place of peace.

    Let nothing disturb you

    Let nothing frighten you

    All things pass away;

    God never changes,

    Patience obtains all things.

    He who has God

    Finds he lacks nothing;

God alone suffices. -- Teresa of Avila

  • "In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti"- Translates in latin to- In the name of the father, son, and holy spirit, amen.

  • A great song, J.C Big! A great film.

  • for the people who put there thumb down to this song....God's gonna cut you down

  • Amen

  • This song goes PERFECTLY with this movie and the video is brilliant!!!! Nicely done, nicely done

  • this would be great for the trailer music for the 3rd boondock saints movie!

  • bad. ass.

  • Comment removed

  • Two of my favorite things in one video :)

  • @manad0g The twins! I called it !

  • Perfect setting for this song.

However the diting could have been better, you could've had a shot of them shooting someone everytime "Gods gonna cut you down" was said.

Actually more action would have been better in general.

  • Great video!

  • One word....PERFECT!! Well done! Excellent!

  • by far one of the best motages i have seen in awhile

  • @TheStapleGunKid

it was explained. they got the money from the russian mobsters they killed at the beginning, then got more money from each kill they performed. As for the gunplay, it was inherited from *SPOILER* their father. all explained.

  • The film never really did explain how two meat plant workers became so proficients with guns, nor how they could afford a big enough arsenal to take over a few third world nations.

I know it's not a big deal, but still I it was a rather glaring plot hole.

  • @TheStapleGunKid Uhh the buying of the weapons is explained by the money, guns, and assorted jewlery they took from the two Russians.

  • @TheStapleGunKid 1) At the ranges that people shot at each other in this movie you don't need any special training to hit a person.

2)The guns were bought by trading the money, watches, and guns that they took from the russian mobsters at the beginning.

  • For #1, I'd still say they were way more proficient then two totally untrained (as far as we know) people should have been.

For #2. It's been a while since I've seen the movie so refresh my memory. Didn't they have an arsenal already when they went in to do their first mob hit (On the guy in the hotel room when they went through the celing)

  • @TheStapleGunKid

BTW, they weren't proficient, all of their "missions" succeeded because of some stupid mistake they made

    *SPOILER*

For example in the hotel, they fall through the ceiling accidentaly while they were fighting, and they got hanged by their foot.

  • @ekr3peeK

I'd just call it luck of the irish

  • @TheStapleGunKid I think that's the whole point of the film. They are supposed to be charmed, like saints.

  • @TheStapleGunKid They were carrying out God's work. It was devine intervention.

And, as others said, the money came from, first the 2 Russians they killed in the alley, then from the Copley Plaza hit where they discovered a case of money...

  • one of my favorite movies with a great song.

  • This is gonna be my song at my funeral, its amazing. the whole tempo of the song.

  • This is impressive.

  • 9 people are going to be cut down by god

  • @ironspiderWD dosent work with this song........

  • @thecosmiced go screw yourself.......

  • @ironspiderWD all im saying is yes the movie was awsome and the the song makes me want to fucking scream but i think some thing more....bad ass(bad choice of words) like hero by skillet or something

  • @thecosmiced now you can go screw your self even harder....

  • johnny cash the original american gangster

  • i believe that the song and the movie were made for eachother !!!

  • I love this movie. I adore this song. I think I just found Nirvana.

  • AUDIOSLAVE!lol

  • Best song + Awesome movie.= This badass video.

  • better than lil wayne...

  • @SamO4rmWestHtwn Better than many... and what's Lil Wayne got to do with this anyways? How could you even think of comparing some dickhead to the great?

  • wow...just wow. that was amazing :)

  • Buetiful editing! Timing was executed to perfection!

  • It really seems as though The Boondock Saints and this song were made for each other

  • fuckin props

  • Good movie.

  • best fan made video yet! cash an the saints just go together

  • best fan made video yet!

  • truly the best way to use two great things. A johnny cash song and the best movie ever =)

  • One of, if not the best, fan made music videos I've seen on youtube. Thank you for making it. Excellent editing and I found the use of black and white fit well with the song.

  • 0:00 - 1:19 should have been the actual trailer for the movie... What I mean to say is...good job

  • Nice scene work-in

  • OMG!!! THE BOONDOCK SAINTS AND JOHNNY CASH OH YEAH!!!!

  • u should get more views!!

  • i love this movie and adding the song makes it better

  • My answer to the opening of that video: Agreed, I think the same thing. Criminals and scumbags and those who plague the innocent and kind hearted need righteous judgement.

  • The mtv/bourne identity school of editing.

Cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut. Pretty good for an amateur job, but letting a scene establish itself isn't a bad idea either.

  • theres a fast version of this song by another band. who does it?

  • @EfdUpPrdctnz it's by moby, but it blows

  • @danny7958 actually, i was looking for elvis. but your comment helped me find what i was looking for so thank you.

  • thas crazy i jus ran into this..........i made a instrumental to gods gonna cut you down......an i used a clip from this movie at the end of my instrumental ,,,this shits hot

  • this was the most bad ass video ive everseen better then the actual video

  • well done!

  • lmao get trolled harder fags

  • The Family Prayer

    "And Shepherds we shall be

For thee, my Lord, for thee.

Power hath descended forth from Thy hand

Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.

So we shall flow a river forth to Thee

And teeming with souls shall it ever be.

In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti."

  • i would kill for an accent like that. awsome vid btw

  • Great vid... I would've like to see more of Rocco in it but it was great anyway.

  • i thought about doing this but theres to many cameras now these days.

  • very nice editing, and patty re-take your film classes. your off point.

  • I have been trying to figure out a song for a boondock saints vid for months, and then I stumble upon this and promptly facepalm >.> Great vid, btw. I'll just have to keep searching.

  • Nice work, perfect transitions, they fit the video together well GREAT JOB!!!!

  • this is a sick video

  • Well, my goodness gracious, let me tell you the news. My head's been wet with the midnight dew. I've been down on a bneded knee, talking to the man from Galilee. He spoke to me with a voice so sweet, I thought I heard the shuffle of the angels' feet. He called my name and my heart stod still when he said "John, go do my will."

  • absolutely perfect! When the Chief asks me to draw my sword, I plan to do so. Although a sword can take many forms....

  • epic! i'm glad someone else finally appreciated the genius of this movie. and i never thought to match this song up with it. well done!

  • @PattyBadFingers @PattyBadFingers just say you hate tarantino movies, boondock saints, inglorious bastards 2009, pulp fiction. you know, all those great movies. as far as toilet dive goes, yes it's unrealistic, but it was kick ass.

you caught me on a bored night.

also, i gotta say some this song would've made for a much better run of previews than what was actually released

  • @speachguru If you ever compare the Boondock Saints to films of Tarantino, you should not be allowed to live. Everything about a Tarantino movie is done to near perfection. The level of depth of the characters, and the simplest things that keep you on the edge of your seat, like a simple conversation.

You should not be allowed to watch films if you even think that this movie is even slightly up to par with Inglorious basterds or Pulp Fiction.

  • @PattyBadFingers up to par? it rivals them. and since the conversations Duffy had in it were great and filled with humor, what's the real reason you hate this film? it's funny, it's got action, and it's serious when it needs to be. the characters are believable and work together flawlessly. Pulp fiction had Marvin getting shot in the face, Inglorious Bastards had the bear jew wielding a baseball bat, boondock saints had Rocco shooting skippy all over the wall

  • @PattyBadFingers This is a Tarantino film idiot

  • @Emo3skimo Look the films director up on google, I think you'll be rather embarassed at your previous claim.
