I don't think you have to be a West Coast Swing dancer or aficionado to appreciate the timing technique, choreography and execution! Did I miss anything? Style & that all together important factor "Entertaining to watch" too!! Are these kids smokin' or what (-in a good way of course) - This ain't your dady's swing... but it's what's keepin' WCS alive!

cool version of song made widely known as pulp-fiction theme... Historically, the song (Missirlou=girl from Egypt in slang greek) was 1st performed by the Michalis Patrinos rebetiko band in Athens, Greece in 1927. As with almost all early "rebetika" songs, the actual composer was never identified, and its ownership rested with the band leader. The melody was most likely composed collaboratively by the group ...often the case at the time; initial lyrics were almost certainly by Patrinos himself.

BOOM! My head just exploded. How did they come up with this stuff. I loved how they framed each move: Boom, a moment to process what you've just seen, BOOM, more time, Frantic over and over becomes a mess: Their choreography let's you enjoy what you've just seen...it's not just every fancy move they know thrown at you at once...
