Federer usually commits a lot of errors during matches, except he wins because he has a lot more winners. So when he started committing multiple errors, he might start hesitating on a shot that he's done before because the margin for error is really small. Nadal is a lot less error prone and way more consistent. Example: 2008 Wimbledon, Federer had 52 unforced errors and Nadal had 27. Some of the errors and winners were during break points, which was an important factor as well.

If he can stay healthy, Nadal is going to break Federer's record of 16, and Fed will have it for an even shorter time than Sampras did.

Federer usually commits a lot of errors during matches, except he wins because he has a lot more winners. So when he started committing multiple errors, he might start hesitating on a shot that he's done before because the margin for error is really small. Nadal is a lot less error prone and way more consistent. Example: 2008 Wimbledon, Federer had 52 unforced errors and Nadal had 27. Some of the errors and winners were during break points, which was an important factor as well.

When roger's backhand is clicking and moving well, rafa don't stand a chance outside clay slam. But too bad rafa is much younger so the comparison in H2H is unfair. One thing for sure roger needs to be as patient as davydenko on the points against rafa.
