I have a pair of KSO's they really are great for everything, except for forest/ off trail. If you step on a thorn you are screwed. I recommend the Treksport if you plan to go off trails. Love Vibrams though :D
ppl that complain about needing arch support have basically lost the use of the muscles that support the arch thereby relying on the shoes they wear to provide a false support. This loss occurs over years of wearing restrictive shoes. In other words when you start wearing these five-finger shoes you will get the use of your toes back enhancing the muscles that support the arches. Like any muscle that has not been trained in a while it will be sore. For me, I'm glad I got my claws back!!
@kdog12355 Oh I see you have high arches? Then, if you want to wear these you have to wear them with a prosthesis. I don't know if high arches can morph to normal arches if you condition them by walking and running barefoot... if they can, you should definitely. Otherwise they'll never change.
My friend has these (and I plan on having a pair soon) and believe me when I say that they will make you the coolest guy in the room. And according to an article I was reading it's supposed to be the healthiest thing for your feet other than walking on bare feet (I may be wrong and you can troll me all you like but that's what I read and I may be wrong it's just what I read). These things are awesome.
@Casper48022 I bought a pair of socks at the same place that I got my VFF. The name brand in Injinji. Truthfully though I hardly wear the socks with them. If it's cold out you might want that added coziness but I live in FL so...
My friend has a pair of these that he bought off some guy who bought it off ebay and they kick-ass. They're supposed to be healthy for your feet because walking around with shoes on doesn't excersize this one muscle (I forget what it's called) but this does excersize that muscle plus acts like a shoe so that you can rock-climb, run, martial arts, swimming etc. These are supposed to go international next year and I can't wait.
It's not meant to make you fast

be sure to let us know about the arch support is in those shoes....
kdog12355 10 months ago
@kdog12355 There's no support at all. Only skin protection. Anyway why would you want arch support? (just curious)

@1Miraculum because I have falling arches...genetics suck.

@kdog12355 Falling arches... does that mean flat foot? normal, flexible flat foot?
1Miraculum 8 months ago
@1Miraculum no, I have arches. But if I don't wear shoes with good support my arches hurt so bad!

@kdog12355 It's barefoot with rubber to stab blisters and cuts, so there's no support.

Check any dictionary. It's supposed to be Vai-brum.
Jouwl 1 year ago
@Jouwl It's not an English company, it's an Italian one. It's Vee-brum.

@ind20000
Pronounciation of names can be different depending on the language, f.x. my own name.
Vibram to me is fair game.

@Jouwl You said "It's supposed to be Vai-brum."

@ind20000
That was not my entire comment, but it's true it was supposed to be 'Check any english dictionary'.
Jouwl 1 year ago
@Jouwl That makes more sense, but it's still an Italian company and they pronounce it Vee-brum.

@ind20000
Most non-swedes can't or won't pronounce swedish names correctly, even if they originate here. No one is hating for this. :P
