  • We have a ipad now

  • Its thick as my TX-instrument calculator :D

  • why do you spend 50% of the video showing a cardboard box?

  • it dosnt have wifi because the internet wasnt invented. you're dumb.

  • @akcarbine949

Actually the internet had already been invented, around the beginning of the 70's I do believe. Apple's website was up around 1996 as well, I'm not sure if that was the year it was FIRST put up, but I do know it was active that year. Do some research before you go calling people dumb.

  • actual unboxing beings at 2:12. Holy crap that's a lot of wasted time in the beginning!

  • lol this screen protector looks like iPad smartcover :D

  • skip to 2:40 to see the beginning of the unboxing

  • @nwoalexjones you just made my day :D

  • @nwoalexjones you must be one of his family members , that's why you're defending his video , btw , go to hell

  • Distinctly ill informed video with stupid author

  • What a wimp -- has to use scissors to open bubble wrap? Way to potentially scratch the thing before you even open it up. idiot.

  • This wuz cool 4 its time

  • skip to 2:25 and save your life

  • @TheTrailers2011 thanks

  • UNBOX!!! Like the product DISLIKE THE TIME YOU SPENT NOT UNBOXING THE FUCKING THING FOR 3 MINS!

  • wow.. i just spent 2 mins looking at a box....

  • @videogameplayer8 anoo im an idiot:L

  • Starts to open at 2:20

  • this is a simpler way,

stop talking, open the box up get the ipad out, and WOW YOUR DONE!

  • @LaurieeeTaylor you ment the newton not the ipad

  • Battery looks like a clip, how awesome is that! :D

  • i doubt this guy will ever have a girlfriend...

  • @doingyourmom2323 At least he seems happy xD

  • unboxing starts at 2:11

    thumbs up!

  • yay a new iPad!!! gonna get one of those =p

  • the old iPad!

  • You guys need to shut up about him talking about it. so impacient.

  • go to 2:05 if u want to see unboxing

thumbs up to help other people

  • @MrCrazyCookie1

really and it's not a UNBOXING. Unboxing is when you buy a new product and remove it from it's original packaging. I was excited to see this but this is basically him opening up a used item.

  • 2Mins until he actually stated opening just the damn shipping box.

  • the earliest version of the ipad

  • where did u get it? i want to get it.

  • @iankaufman80 Do you really want one? I have one.

  • can i haz it i wuz born in 1997

  • No phone calling capability....sounds eerily familiar.

  • where u put the battery it looks like a magazine for a gun lol

  • 2:10 FIINALLY!

  • did u just say quaarty? lol

  • can i have it

    please email me

  • @THEOTHATSME123 go on ebay and buy one. This is a collector item and fetches a little bit.

  • you fucking talk way to much dude. unbox while your talking dammit. i just cute straight to the end ugh.

  • I ordered my yesterday!

  • Oh damn! Don't criticize that beautiful machine. You can absolutely connect the newton with wifi, bluetooth, gsm, and play mp3s and video (some limitations.) There is still a very large community backing the Newton Messagepad. Palm handhelds don't compare, neither does pocket pc. If you want to get things done, go with Newton. It's still connected and still the best organizer available. I've yet to see any product that allows you to write on the screen, like a note, the way this does.

  • You can use this TODAY as GTD-PIM devices. Very focused for that. No iPhone/iPad app distractions. YOu can use it for note taking, quick simple notes, handwritten notes, notetaking, outlining, lists, call logger, advanced calculator, project organizer and so on. There are hundreds if not thousands of Newton OS apps at UNNA - no way its for the internet as we know it today. Mobile websites may work, but you kids are too used to fast internets so you won't like it. Dont waste time making all wifi.

  • good video used to have mp2100 now i have mp100 and emate300 both running stable use 9V mains for both,,,,,, neat forgotten device,, ahead of its time.... vid

  • "Im sure it isn't the original packaging" Duh.... Does apple really ship stuff in boxes like that?

  • I'm sorry, but this guy's voice is really annoying...

  • WHERE DID YOU AQUIRE THIS DEVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!

    please tell me!

    thankyouuu

  • @led235 simple, use something called ebay.

  • dose the newton have a built in floppy drive?

  • you should be a comedian... you're funny... lmfao

  • what a nerdy voice

  • That is in fact the original packaging

  • you don't even open the box for half this video...stfu and unbox monkey boy XD

  • WOW! 4 megs!!! impressive lol

  • sounds word for word from jons video...i think john copied him

  • such an ugly design by apple...!!!!!

  • ya, there's not much to say about apple design until steve came back

  • @andysubba01

    it was the 90's geez

  • haha! john just unboxed this!

  • yeah! i only watched this because of jon's video! :D:D

  • me too

  • Yes its a stylus~~~thats in the shape of a pen !!!

    2:50

  • anybody else just ffw to 3:00 if you want to skip to actual unboxing.

  • Ablaste mucho con la caja cerrada.

  • A minor correction to the mention of Windows CE: WinCE came out in 1996, not "a little bit later" after 1997. WinCE 2.0 was already out in 1997.

  • dude, it's "os ten" not "os-ex"

  • It doesn't mater.

  • you spent half of the time talking before the actual "unboxing"

  • I have an iPod touch and iv heard of someone who cracked the screen and the newton is lame

  • Wow. This is like the ipod touch of its time huh? kinda cool!

  • haha, I remember back in the day.

Drawing in the dark hehehe. The green is a really nice colour, too. Properly like 90s LOL.

  • the battery looks like a gun magazine

  • a farcy from the iphone/itouch

  • actual unboxing starts around 2:09

  • please,cut this 2,15 minutes of talking

  • How much is it now?

  • check ebay,this one is for $34.97

  • Uh, it wasn't huge or ugly in 1993.

  • that screen is scrathable ipod touch/ iphone are unscratchable thats why a like it

  • just unbox the god damn thing , gosh , so annoying

  • i know =[

  • @Naoufalitos24 Lmao.

  • @Naoufalitos24 more than 3 min until he gets the think out of the box!!!

  • OS X- not OS ex, OS TEN!! roman numeral

  • dude , a ton of people call it that :)

  • LOL, this video was so funny. I remember the Newton.....you should also review those "White Brick" cell phones. =)

  • It was the worlds first PDA.

  • Even by 1997 standards, it's too big to be considered a phone.

  • it was out in 1993 i thought

  • Yes, it did debut in 1993, but according to the video, the reviewer is presumably unboxing a 1997 model.

  • haha^^ damn =) teh beginning was kinda ...

it was like : ....*waiting*.......*hyperactive*HEY GUYS THIS IS ...^^

  • Seriously! The wait on this clip was SO long. I started to see things in the Priority Mail tape that didn't really exist!

  • Seems to be roughly the size of a VHS tape. it'd be great for someone with huge homer simpson fingers like me.

  • edit: i forgot that i already posted this...How did i do that?

  • batter looks like a magazine

  • i have a time machine

  • lol

  • The whole massive thing would probably be in my favor, i have huge Homer simpson fingers ("They're snausage fingers." -My sister) and i struggle with the iPod Touch's tiny keyboard simulation. Too bad they don't make iPod touches that big...

  • OS 10!

  • i have one of those messagepad 2100. it was only 19.99 on eBay. i dont use it much because i have no use for it. ya it is really massive

  • depending on the condition i would be willing to buy it from you

  • that thing is fucking huge

  • the only reason its huge is so you can write well. Ipaqs are really small and trying to handwrite on that is very very sucky

  • I really want one

  • i wasted 2:02 seconds to listen to this guy talking until he said lets start the unboxing

  • I think this guy forgot that when you unbox it you show it off... not just talk about unboxing it.

  • Compare that too the Iphone 3G

  • yeah, iPhone 3G has no fax feature built in...

  • that thing is so ANCIENT dude!!

    ROFLMAO

  • So what?

  • so its good that he brought it up..

  • and it can still use bluetooth and wifi. and still has the best handwriting for a PDA. you can surf the web, use irc, read your email. use AIM. GPS location, and use a 1gb CF card and you can even use it as a universal remote.

yes its Ancient but it still can do allot of things. you can use a (hard to find) PCMCIA VGA card and hook it to a monitor, and stream music and play MP3s. i love my newton 2100

  • how do u do all that on it?

  • The Newton was way before it's time -- very cool to see it again.

  • COOL! Wow. Can't wait for the review! ;)

  • i want to see a marching band

  • amen

  • As Always! Pocketnow rules!! Keep the videos coming guys!!

  • i would use that other that win mobile

  • wow i want one ... ahahahaha so neet

  • Haha

  • Wow, great retro unboxing!
