I'm a promotee going on tour this year to Italy. I'm not sure but we might learn this because they put it in our folders in the beginning of the year... I hope we do perform it :) sounds great!!
@italy619 it's slow because Ms. Lee wanted to showcase different parts of the arrangement. When Mr. Hogan came and worked with our choir he too slowed down the tempo...so Joe isnt doing anything that Mr. Hogan didnt do himself. This this probably the best recording of this song I have ever heard.
i'm so glad she didn't make the altos sing as loud as they possibly could at the "come on sister" section! i wish she could have helped out the sopranos on their B's and D's. besides that, very professional and nice group!
im not in very many videos or pictures from the CCC but i'm glad i was in this one, because that was one of my favorite times in the choir. ( the new york tour). we also met opera singer Denise Graves that day. forgive me if i spelled it wrong. lol but i really miss the choir.
aw, I miss Josephine unnee. She and my sister are really good friends. I met her in high school, and she was like..."Oh are you Jen's sister?" It was great, and CCC has gotten better and better.
BTW (Unnee means big sister in Korean. Yeah, i call her that. I call all my sister's friends that)
