to those saying the song intro is stolen from some roberto carlos, just looked up the song everyone's saying was plagiarized, stratovarius fans fret not, to my trained ear the intro of the other song, although similar, possess slightly different notes, and a hugely different timbre, plus the riff, while epic, is really simple, therefore I have no doubts that stratovarius came up with this version themselves, this is still epic regardless, lyrics are good too

He didn't talk about this specific song, but Strato songs in general. Some good examples are Fantasia, Destiny and Infinity as they all talk about individual's ability to control their life as opposed to having a God determine your fate; those songs also encourage people to find their own truth rather than just following the majority (which is also a transcendentalist idea).

These guys should have been huge, when i see bands like dragonforce, that write the same song 10000 times become so much more popular, and bands with more diverity get ignored in comparision it makes me sad.
