Hard choice... You either get a Great Ending for the Destiny Crew and the Fafner crew gets their Worst ending or you get the Best Ending for Fafner but Stella and Rey stay dead for Destiny.

I guess that Fafner is the one with the tragedy events, i mean all SRW has one, that more that one character that have to die, and you cant save, for example you put Gun X Sword, if you notice, there is one who die in there serie, but in the game is still alive, but in fafner you have a lot of pilots and only ending with four

So I take it that with the Fafner pilots and Festums, when they kill them, they become them (albeit this being a painfully slow process). That's a bit more depressing than even Ideon.

Technically, Shinn resembles Kazuki. Fafner was out before Seed Destiny.

Admittedly. But Kazuki didn't get red eyes until near the tail end of Fafner, long after SEED Destiny started.

It also wasn't long after Destiny started, Fafner ended in December of 04 and Destiny began in October of 04.

I totally agree with you on Fafner starting before Destiny. That's not what I'm arguing. I'm also not arguing that Shinn greatly resembles Kazuki.

What I *am* arguing is that it was Kazuki who furthered the similarities by taking on a trait that Shinn had from the start: red eyes.

Again, the red eye thing was something that existed in Fafner before Seed Destiny came out.

But whatever. It's not exactly Kazuki looking like Shinn when Shinn was created after Kazuki. Overall, Shinn looks like Kazuki, not the other way around.

The Red Eyes was from the assimilation phenomenon which was exhibited early on in the show.

@darksword101 the fafner changes around the chromosome's of it's pilot, which in turn makes their eyes red.

Actually, Kazuki has a sort of a mixed design there. I would say that Kazuki often has face and body traces that might remember Athrun, however it blends with Shinn's as well, especially because of the familiar eyes and hair, and the expressions when he's in the battle. However, when it comes to his personality, he looks more like Kira (And sometimes even Athrun), due to his innocent and pure kindness and sense of friendship.

Trying to get this first step right is incredibly hard. The very MINIMUM you need to kill this beast is five attack upgrades and ALL the attacks must Crit.

Correction: Kill the enemy with Shouko (She must have 30% or higher HP) But the process isn't easy... it relies on a first playthrough pumping all your money into the Mark Elf unit so it carries over to her mech.

I doubt the 30% Hp or higher Hp remaining really matters, Shouko killing the Festum should be more than enough. I mean, the generic sad bgm being played instead of Seperation should be the best indication.
