  • the whole point of a tutorial is to SHOW people how to do it, and yes i know how to use photoshop and create folds, i just think its ignorant for people to create videos called tuts to get views when their not directing anything

  • it looks great but ! you really need to slow down the vid

so that, people can see what u are doing, also u need a

comentory with audio as well this is way to fast for a begginer to

    grasp what is going on

  • which photoshop is this? o.o i dont have that snugel thingi xD

  • Thank you, i fucking got it!

    Are you a game designer?

  • With this talent you could design real clothes.

  • Holaaaa, ¿alguien me podría decir que versión del programa es?

  • its art, yea-- but yano what even the most FAMOUS pieces of art werent done in 3 min 27 seconds, its sad, that all these "artists" in second life create these videos, an cant do a english overlay english subtitles, something that would help someone whos native tongue is english, I find their work beautiful for what i can catch of it without stopping an starting the video 25 mines, can you imagine doing it that often try it an find out how agitating it is-- an more so when this video is a tuto?

  • goddamit can anyone make a video slow please

  • THIS IS ART !

  • ok next time slow down and talk us through the process not race through like we all know what we doing cos many of us DONT

  • nice, where's the tuto btw?

  • ma maglia è bella ma dare modo ad altri i vedere i passaggi è chiedere troppo eh!!

  • People are idiots good tutorial

  • trop rapide

  • could you give me the opacity map to that

  • lol

  • OK for those of you having problems keeping up with this video here is an easy way to do it. Find a youtube video downloader and save it to yoyur desktop for reference that way you can also have a nice big video to watch and just pause. It is a fast video no doubt...but I think the creator didnt want to let all their secrets out of the bag :) The end result is good I love it, bookmarked

  • @getcrystals That doesn't solve the low quality or the french, witch makes it hard to follow in what the creator is doing... If I could read what the text said, I could've run it through Google Translate, but I can't make out everything... >.<

  • @morphman86 If you don't know photoshops UI off the top of your head, your probably not going to get anything from a "tutorial" that's actually just a speedpaint.

  • @leminlyme When speeding through lists with the mouse scroller, it doesn't matter how good you are at the UI. There you need to see the actual names to be able to see what the creator is doing.

  • @morphman86 What lists?

  • @leminlyme For example: The layer list, wich the person uses the mousescroller to go through, instead of opening the list so you can at least see the category of layers and narrow it down a bit.

  • @morphman86 So my comment is still withstanding? Seeing the specific layers, what kinda shit is that useless information? It's quite clear what they're painting on, and your likely to have a different layer layout if your clothing is different at all, so what does that matter? Look at the canvas.

  • @leminlyme It's the layer STYLE I'm after, and I know now what layer style it is, because of weeks of experimentation (it's an overlay layer with 50% gray).

If it is anything other than a 50% gray overlay layer, this technique won't work, THAT is why it's important to see what layer style it is.

  • @morphman86 It's really not, and I'm sorry for even argueing about this. It's sillynonsense. But when I said if you don't know photoshop like the back of your hand you wouldn't get anything from this, I wasn't joking. This isn't a tutorial, it's a speed paint. Just seeing the process only helps if you understand it to begin with...

But then I'm just sitting on a high horse because I already know all this information. Just stroking my superiority ego. x3

  • how long did this take?

  • its not a tutorial just a show off of talents should take off tutorial in the tags part though

  • Personally, I think this video is really good. Just pause it. Also, you do have to know how to use PS to make SL clothing. If you know how to get around PS, this makes sense and I think the person who took the time to put this on, is great.

  • Sorry can you do captions or a voice narration? I can't even see which buttons or menu you are choosing. Just painting black and white? How do you know where to put the wrinkle or shading for the avatar?

Maybe you can just sell a wrinkle template for people to buy.

  • It's a very simply example. Perfect speed. If you are lost, as said above, watch some more photoshop tuts.

  • It is indeed a bit fast, but with a lot of patience and a lot of pausing and resuming, you can learn a lot. Merci Ginger! J'aime tes videos.

  • what the hell is this. It all looks fancy when your goin a million miles and hr but is useless as a tutorial. You may wanna think about redoing and explaining in mayb a 10min vid instead of less than 3.30. Pointless. Y do ppl call them tutorials when you dont know whats goin on nor any explanation

  • @browser067 ever thought about using the PAUSE BUTTON ???? and use your EYES ??

  • @jericho568

Yeh i have and even then its pointless, thats y this aint a tutorial, you only have to find others and then see what the word tutorial means.

  • Your skills are epic I totally suck at wrinkles ..

  • it doesnt give time to see what shes doing

  • Use your eyes people. If you have even a minimal skill at using photoshop you can clearly see what she's doing to create this piece. It's not that difficult. Pause the damn video and take a look. If you are completely lost then maybe you should browse some Photoshop tutorials first.

  • @Sinsation27

Im afraid you are mistaken, if you want to teach people then do so. There is alot of steps left out in the masking and in the creating of new layers. If you want to show off your skillz then do so. But if you want to teach. even with the stop and pause it was too fast. It is a good way to do wrinkles no doubt but it is wayyy to fast to teach.

  • @Sinsation27 I did use my eyes and the print of the menu is too small for me. Not everyone has 20/20 vision or a magnifying glass. Don't be arrogant.

  • @GirLInSecondLife The point is people who are skilled enough to get anything from this tutorial, know the entire Photoshop UI well enough that they don't even need to see the UI. I could look at the canvas and guess what she's doing.

Infact, she's barely DOING anything. She paints, changes layer blending mode (Probably to soft light) and smudges wrinkles. And smudges wrinkles. And smudges wrinkles. And overlays a texture, tosses on a HIDEOUS stock, and ta-da. Done.

  • @Sinsation27 Hahahahaha

  • @Sinsation27 Can you tell me what she presses for wrinkles? I dont have photoshop but maybe theres a tool in my progrma (NOT paint)

  • @Sinsation27

true, but to those who don't have a foreign PS won't understand what layer settings she is applying. like did she do overlay or multiply? her PS isn't english, but its still understandable to those who have ps and Aren't first timers.

  • @Sinsation27 apparently not everyone has minimal skill. They are learning by watching but sadly this person doesn't like people learning by watching. I understand Photoshop and I STILL notice places in her vids where she is purposely making it difficult to follow. being experienced with techie types i know how annoying it is for them to slow down for others. I just think it's pretty strange to post instruction and make it so fast. Unless the idea is to laugh at those with minimal skill.

  • @FlowerJutsu is not only laugh about those who has min. skill. cause this people makes REAL money out of this in SL, if you have been in SL has much i do, you will know what im talking about, ihave been on sims were this tutorials are for SELL..so this video can be considered has propaganda for his/her SL products, either of you buy her clothing or the tutorials to make them.

  • when you make your own clothes do you get to wear them free?

  • @MrOslate1

    Kind of.

It costs 10L to upload the textures for the clothes.

  • i cant believe that anyone could be nasty about this... she didnt have it do it AT ALL!!!

So merci beaucaup....et bisous.. but yea i would love to see one a little slower... hehe thanks hun you are amazing!

  • this was NOT helpful at all, why call it a tutorial if you dont even run us through slowly and explain it all. Change the freaking title.

  • Very amazing one time excellent work, play too with iClone

  • ha too bad i don't know enough french to read what youre doing XD but interesting at least

  • @xemeh there is such thing as pause. use it to see what she clicked on, dummy

  • Comment removed

  • @xemeh 1 if you had a pulse you would have replied to me in a mature fashion and not made insinuations that i was stupid for suggesting a solution to the problem you were complaining about

  • Yiay you make this look soooo easy XD hahaha I will try
