It's still such a shock knowing that Lis is no longer with us. I think the last six episodes of SJA are going to be very sad to watch but, like you say, we still have episodes of Doctor Who and SJA to watch.
Thanks for putting this up. Even though she is gone, she won't be forgotten and with stuff like this to watch she can still be with us. Like so many, Lis made such an impact on me from a young age and that stayed with me, that is why for me, like so many, her death was so upsetting. But thankfully we have so many lovely episodes of WHO and SJA to watch her in :)
Wonderful candid video of Lis with her fans. Thank you so much for this!
Back in the 70's she and Tom Baker introduced America to WHO. Tom set the standard of "DR" for us, but truthfully, it was Lis who took our hearts. I was SO pleased to see her return in School Reunion that I began collecting the SJS era of Classic WHO on DVD.
The thousands of heartfelt messages posted worldwide show that I am far from alone in feeling the pain of her passing.
Thank you Coltperc for taking the time to comment on my video of Lis. I'm still very upset at her death because it was so unexpected and she was such a lovely lady. I wanted to share this with Doctor Who fans because I think she tells the stories with such humour and her delivery is spot on! Thank you again for your comments! :-)
Thank you for this PlanetChris1962. I hope others with such wonderful personal recordings of Elisabeth Sladen will put them online also. Lis was such a treasure, truly "the brightest star in the Whoniverse". It is easy to see why she was so universally loved by fans, crew and fellow actors alike. She was just so down-to-earth, genuinely warm and likeable exactly like Sarah Jane was onscreen.
Thank you Maundervision for your lovely comments about the video and of course, Lis. I, like you, am still struggling to come to terms with the fact that she has gone. At least she can live on in our hearts and of course with Doctor Who! I'm glad you enjoyed my little tribute. I love the car backing into the props van the best! x
Well...what can one say? Only the obvious, really: that the shock of Elisabeth's passing still hasn't completely sunk in yet (not for me, at any rate); that, like Weimlady & I'm sure many millions of others, I had always hoped to meet her, and that this now will never be; and that, most of all, what this video & a number of others show is a side we didn't see of her that often, that of the seasoned raconteur, sharing stories with Ustinov-like relish, and wondrous timing. Thank you, Chris. RIP. x
Thank you Weimlady for taking the time and trouble to look at my video and for your positive comments. It's my pleasure to share this with you and the world!

Hi Brabon1
Thanks for your comment to my video. It certainly is sad. I think the worst thing about it is the fact it was so sudden and such an unexpected shock!
