We just bought an '09 Versa hatchback and it is one of the best that we have ever had. Our '02 Sentra was rear-ended and totaled, and we had an old beat-up Chevy pickup to turn in for "Cash for Clunkers," so we ended up getting a base model with the 1.8 L engine (a lot like a rental car) because we were still making $200 a month payments on the Sentra, and we owed $2,000 on it. It has 6 airbags and ABS, but other than that it is no-frills except for your basic A/C, CD player, and power steering.
Actually bro cannot say that i have ever had that problem with mine... Mine is a 6 speed but i have never seen it do that, it doesnt start if the clutch isn't all the way down but that is as close as i can think...
Notice how Nissan has a slighlty modded Honda beeper. I dont like Honda or Nissan so I dont care. I prefer Toyota to most everything.

Hey,i have a 09 nissan versa SL.....
and i was wondering if yours when u go to start it ever, doesnt crank the first try...it just makes noise.. ?
