I have the exact same ultra-portable with extended battery pack.

It's keeping alive mine for up to 8 hours if i do word, excel or C, but that

"10 hours of Stamina..." is a bit fishy. The cpu has a 35 watt thermal dissipation, and an overall 17,5 watt power dissipation.Considering a 75 watt battery (which is the extended battery's designed capacity), only the cpu would suck it dry in no less than 10,5 hours, not mentioning the display, south bridge (with x3100), and hdd.

I have this laptop it is awesome. Oh, it's a talet notebook too. This is the uber laptop. Except for the intel GMA. that sucks but you can change that dirt cheap.

dont buy x61s its lower speed its only gives battery life its only 1.6 ghz

and x61 is 2.4 and cheaper but normal processor just look at speed wth is battery??

I already bought it and I'm very happy with it. For me battery-life was more important, than speed, cause I'm just surfing internet, email, write documents and so on. office-use. But as a student I have to travel a lot and not everywhere is electricity available. So for me it was the right choice.

hmmm to be honest the range iz not that bad, it's about 10 meters.

its a great mouse and it's even work in PS3 linux ^-^

and yeah its true winXP works perfectly in X61

gaining more battery life better than everthing.

i even tested X61 with Linux Ubuntu Festy Fawn the battery life was ok better than vista, really enjoyed using linux on X61 but still cant find a way to find sound driver.
