  • I'm studying it... IT'S SO DIFFICULT.!!!

  • Depth and joy in one! Brilliant!

  • mm His perfomance is in 100 Bps I played in 80 I prefer it lento

  • @K0lozo however its bps is 120

  • i love this piece and i really want to play it!! such an amazing performance :)

  • I love the way you play and just asking if you had ever had a MasterClass , to improve your playing.

  • I love all the people saying this is easy and such. It is easy to play, however it is difficult to play it correctly, i.e., interpretively. This piece really speaks when played well, that's why it's my favorite waltz. At my college audition I'm going to play la campanella, the volodos turkish march, and end with this piece.

  • His version is the one on Youtube that sounds closest to mine. I was surprised that I didn't enjoy Valentina Lisitsa's interpretation, it felt rushed and took too many degrees of freedom that it sounded too affected... it's interesting and unique, yes, but I like this version. all player comparisons aside, one of my favorite pieces of all time. OF ALL TIME.

  • I just finished playing this piece about 5 minutes ago and came here to listen to a "real" version of it and wow does this sound completely different. The emotion, I love it. Apparently I still have room for improvement...

  • this piece is amazing

  • im learning this, its a beautiful art

  • I 1st heard this song in the video game "Alone in the Dark", always struck me as 'creepy' as a kid, 25 years later I can hear the tale of romance that never was......

  • like

  • Beautiful!

  • Do I hear parents here living vicariously through their children when it comes to music? Huh?

  • why are chopins pieces so frequently tinged with sadness

  • @llethaface11

Can you pick any one point in your life where there is not one hint of sadness?

  • it's not what you play, but how you play it matters

    Lindo.

  • so incredible!!

  • @TheSunglassesThing EXACTLY

  • Beautiful. Soulful. Full of Life. Amazing.

  • I can play it on the piano too! :) prettiest song eva!

  • I love it!!!

  • I can play this song on the piano :)

  • @musiclover20878 dear musiclover - a song is only a song when it has a singer. otherwise it is a "piece". :)

  • Superb!!! This is a very Adieux! Thank for your Art Erez, if a day you'll come in Florence, I'll be hearing you!

  • I feel that the more I live my life, the more I understand this piece.

  • @0011486 exactly, con espressione...

  • @0011486 i feel the same way my friend.

  • Tzvi Erez es mi modelo a seguir . Gracias por sus canciones.

  • Every time I listen to this song, my heart just stops. It's so soothing, calming, relaxing, and beautiful. Classical piano music is really the best!

  • good

  • love love love love this song

  • Love this song!

  • ❤ it!

  • I heard that song in a Taiwanese movie before..Its indeed captivating & calm.. :D

  • @kamirajane95 Do you mean 'Secret'? I love that movie :)

  • this composition is beautiful. it sounds so romantic. i just finished it. and hopefully i could play it for my next recital.

  • No words can describe how much I love this waltz!! It's so simple, so clear and so beautiful!!!

  • It is writen in the relative minor of Ab: Fm.

  • His fingers appear to be waltzing across the keyboard. Brilliant rendition.

  • Absolutely devine. Mr. Erez holds the key to Chopin's musical genius...

  • he makes it look so easy, and it is anything but!

  • really wonderful!

  • Simply gorgeous...

  • I've never heard this played so beautifully as this video. What charming appeal. His videos are so irrestible that they force you to come back several (hundred) times for more. lol He captures your heart, doesn't he? So moving...

  • This is probably one of my favorite chopin songs of all time. ohh how I miss my piano :(

  • BRAVO!!!!!

Мои уши слышат музыку,а не игру на музыкальном инструменте!!!

  • BRAVO!!!!!

  • Superb!

  • 01:35 ♥

  • This is so beautifully played. He has such amazing videos that I purchased his Blu-rays and they are PHENOMENAL! The video's quality is simply amazing! More than I ever could have imagined. I bought all three: Intimate Recital, Tranquility - Vortex, and Tranquility Solitaire. Beautiful music and scenery on the Tranquilities. I'm a super fan of this gentleman's music and videos now. Even his online store is very organized, and the customer service is the best I've dealt with.

  • Dacă ar fi să ne însoţim cu muzică toate plecările, de lângă noi, din noi şi de aiurea, parcă sunetul ar trebui să fie unul încărcat de tristeţe, dulce... şi Chopin-nian!

  • This is played so lovely. I never cared for this piece until I heard this verson. Absolutely stunning...

  • wau....what more can I say

  • wau what more can I say...

  • :O awesome!!!

  • A superb performance!!

  • I hate when people brag about how they played it when they were 10 and stuffs like that. You have to feel this music.

  • @TheSunGlassesThing : exactly!

  • @beckypham08 - I also agree, and the man in this video really feels this piece. It's so beautifully and perfectly done.

  • @TheSunGlassesThing I agree with you, as a matter of fact I don't like when little childs play Chopin, it is not at their level, perhaps it is from a technical point of view but Chopin and romantic pieces are beyond technical interpretations and the musicality one needs to play it relies in feeling and living. Yours here is great comment!

  • @sebastianrc trust me, there are children that play this real well. they "FEEL" the music. It is sometimes DEFINITELY their level.

  • @TheSunGlassesThing Thats right. Music has NOTHING to do with age, its on how musical and how much you feel it.

  • @fabianyoshimaninoff Lol How's that?

  • very well played, bravissimo!!

  • That was awesome!!! I'm 10 and playing that song in a competition in August 2010. Wish me luck!!

  • oh my god. that's fucking amazing....

    and sexy:)

  • I play as good as this and I've been playing for a year and a half...

  • @1Lisztener1 say the same through a video of urs

  • @1Lisztener1 Show us please, we'd love to see

  • @1Lisztener1 good for you :)

  • @1Lisztener1 Would you be able to record a small video and upload it here so we all can see and HEAR your claim?

  • @1Lisztener1 and? I can play Nocturne no.20 pretty good and I've been playing for just under 1 year?

  • @FluffingClouds Well, i have to do what ur talkin about, and I'm a level 5. Hope this helps :)

  • Piękne jak cała POLSKA<,dziękuje:)

  • I noticed between 1:57 and 2:02 i see a shadow besides on the left hand, something like it touches some key on the piano, sound creepy but i've watched it over and over again, and i cant be wrong. ... weird .... anyways, this piece is very well played.

  • @gatjenny2000 I think it's the head of the pianist

  • @gatjenny2000 its the pianist leaning in when he plays the passage i guess :P

  • @gatjenny2000 It is probably his forehead,dude!

  • @rizelinez - Precisely.

  • nice playing

  • I listen to this remarkable piece every morning, the calm, poignancy is just.............

  • If I play this memorized, and execute it somewhat perfectly (never as well as this, but decent enough), what "level" so to speak, would you say I am? Just out of curiosity, I truly have no idea, and I'd like to know (:

  • Nice, i always fail part 17-26 bit hard for me anyway thankyou for putting this on it helped me.

  • impressive. turn this vid in to the record company. u rock those keys.

  • Very good!!!

  • Very good. Congratulations.

  • Chopin Fingers

  • its such a wonderful piece. love it so much.

  • mi piace + il pianoforte k il èpianista....

  • mmmmhmmmmmmmm.....

  • Great! Many pianists play this piece with too much rubato, but not you!

Even if it's a romantic piece the fact that it's a waltz makes me play it without too much rubato.

    Very well played anyway.

  • @lePistolero there's no such thing as too much rubato :p

  • @ponggolese so true!!! I play this song and I'm absolutely in love with the rubato feel. Chopin's way of playing his songs with rubato just makes his music stand out amongst other composers. If only I could time travel back in time just to hear him play his music with his own rubato feel...*dreamy sigh

  • @lePistolero whats rubato ??? never heard something like that.. O_O

  • @MangaLover210 Its playing with time... Increase the speed and slow down around the time line. Like the leaves dancing in the wind whereas the trunk don't move, that's rubato. It's tipical of the romantic music... (chopin, schumann...)

  • this is great

  • Wonderful! You play with great refinement and respect for the text. It is always a great pleasure to hear you play.

  • wow bellissima la sto studiando

  • Charming!!!!

  • how captivating his considerate fingers are to Valse de L'adieu.

I fall hard everytime I listen to it.

  • I can't stop listening it... this melody impressed me so much...

  • me too !!!

but i learn piano since 8 years and this year, this is my evaluation...

    it's so difficult !

but the melody is so cute and I always have the song in my heart !

have a good continuation, see you soon !

  • this is perhaps one of the best ive heard

  • o.o so lovely!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sono daccordo con elmas333, non c'è veramente molto sentimento, sopratutto nella prima parte che deve essere molto più melancolica. Ma è un veramente buona pianista. 5 stelle.

  • ottimo, ma con poco sentimento

  • woaoooooooooo love it!!!!!!!!!!!!
