Wow that is some fake looking shit.

The shockwave (and subsequent fire. I doubt there'd be that much oxygen left) is what gives it away. A 2D texture superimposed on a 3d plane just doesn't work. And besides that, the shockwave isn't actually visible, it's the debris and dust that gets kicked up that you see.
