i've seen where the mantis beaten the wasp, depends on who is more experienced and whether it is a fair fight. personally most of it is not fair. if you look at the animal that gets killed, usually they're not ready for it, they're a whole lot smaller, and most of the time the've been brutally hurt by the idiot who forces the two to fight before the match begins. you can tell by looking at the condition of the animal. most of them are hurt badly and that's why they lose for the most part.
hornets would destroy most mantis, though the biggest and strongest mantis would be interesting. I would still say 70:30 for the Hornet though. Scorpion not sure
Hi!! In reality, the spider was paralyzed and not dead after the wasps' bite. This wasp (Pepsis frivaldszkyi) is very strong, this footages are made in a terrain with 30° of inclination and the wasp carried the spiders until a hole inside the roots of a big amazonian tree for 30 m. The spiders was six times heavier than the wasp!! Thanks

It's paralyzed,the wasp does this to Lay eggs on the Tarantula, and when they hatch the Babies eat the Tarantula I think.

... and another thing - when a spider dies it closes its leg to its body. The legs here are pretty widely spread - just like a molted skin.

Can't see quite well... but looking at the speed that wasp is carrying the spider.. I believe that it carries only molted skin.
