@krisitantobias neal's les paul's are equipped with the floyd rose system (or a similar floating tremelo system) so he probably used it for that. nevertheless he's beast of a player.

this IS tuned down a half step, and i have perfect pitch so i would know. but this is not as big a deal as arnel haters would like to believe because by the time steve perry was arnel's age (around 41 or 42 i think) he was singing his songs tuned down, just watch his 90's tours, and now he can barely sing at all. arnel is a great singer.

It's still the original key!! Why do this people say that they have lowered the key to some of their classic songs? I have listened to both Steve's and Arnel's versions in my ipod everyday and it's still the same.

he does lower the key on alot of songs though ive heard it for myself just listen to Perry...but nonetheless Arnel does a great job as one can do...after all he is trying to fill the shoes of the best singer EVER
