how do you hold your poi? do you put a knot/counter weight in, like a golfball or do you just have the weights in the socks and you just pinch the top of them and thats it?

I put a bouncy ball in the handle side, and tie knots to keep them in place. :) its cheap, easy, and doesn't hurt when the handles hit you. hope it helps.
