Burned Out Provo Tabernacle Research Among Rubble Turns Up Original Historic Hidden Beautiful Painted Decorations: See inside photo and short video at blog mormonartconservation
@rtardbox - Before you go off and insult firefighters and the methods of fighting a fire you should educate yourself on firefighting methods first...It was likely determined very early on that saving the internal structure from fire, smoke, and extreme water damage was impossible and risk of life too high. Temperatures inside were likely near 1500+ degrees. So they are trying to save what they can by cooling the remaining structure elements. Ask a trained firefighter, this method is very common.
the only structure they are hosing is that ONE SPIRE. And if they were to hose inside they'd put out the flames. PERIOD. And as for hosing that one spire is stupid 'cause they're just gonna end up tearing the whole damn thing down once the flames burn themselves out.
firefighters - bunch of idiots who do nothing all day but masturbate in front of each other and absorb tax-money for doing NOTHING!!!
@rtardbox - Wow, plain and simple, you clearly don't understand firefighting methods at all. You really should keep quite on this until you do. Your comments are extremely immature and juvenile at best. I was simply telling you what is very common knowledge for firefighting. Telling people that they are "idiots" and "douches" shows your lack of ability to debate intelligently and with any maturity at all. Further discussion is futile. "PERIOD".
@Jimbo3san yes, you do sound like you're on your period.
hosing down that one spire is idiotic. PERIOD boy.
the entire place will have to be torn down anyway, now, PERIOD boy.
firefighters are useless pieces of human feces, PERIOD boy.
they try to pass themselves off as authorities, heros and the like. they're tax eating whores who do nothing of value to earn their keep. why idiots like you worship lazy firemen, idiot cops and retarded US soldiers is beyond me.
The loss of such an historical building is not just a tragedy for our Mormon neighbors, but for many in the community who too have been blessed with the beauty, and many fond memories of programs in celebration of culture, Christmas, and worship. We too feel your loss, and pray we may be able to help in any way we can.

SAVE THE STRUCTURE! REBUILD - If not Provo Tabernacle turn it into something like they did in Boston at the NE corner of Mass Ave and Beacon Street.

Regardless of what church it belonged to, the building was one-of-a-kind, a treasure.

I'm thinking this was a radio controlled chopper (I.e. Just a couple feet long) with a remotely operated camera.
