I absolutely love your work, I've only recently gotten into the whole drawing on a computer scene, and have bought myself a medium Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch. I was wondering what you use, or recommend using. And from a general sketching perspective, do you recommend any tips when drawing? ^^
Before I bought my Cintiq (21UX), I actually used a Bamboo. Very good quality. :D As for tips... All I can think to say is don't over-complicate things. When you're sketching, keep it simple, and add details later. Otherwise you'll just drive yerself bonkers, ^^
I use the scratchboard tool under the "pen" section, and I make sure that I have pressure sensitivity on. As for size, pressing ctrl+alt and moving your cursor adjusts the size of the brush.
If you're talking about the accuracy though, it's because of my tablet, not the brush. xD
Well, as I already mentioned, it's under "pens" in the tools. But if you're having difficulty finding it there, you might not have the right program? This is Corel Painter 10, or "X".
Well, for the past few years I've been using a few freeware open-source programs that had somewhat similar controls, so that made the transition to a retail program a lot easier.
I think I have a long long way before I can do it as good as you though heh heh I been using photoshop :/ which I really suck at lol just trying to find the best programme for myself.........
Nice art ;) can you tell me how to change the tips of the brushes on painter if you know :/ so the brush can be slightly slanted and thick to thin.........
what pencil did you use for the sketch..im having a hard time finding just the right point sharp enough to make tapered sharp lines

Cover Pencil is the lineart brush. I use it for both sketching and lineart. Just increasing the size of the brush when I sketch with it.

I only just got the program myself, so I'm still learning the ins and outs of the program. I'd help you out if I could. :D
If it helps any, I used the cover pencil for the sketch, and the Scratchboard tool (under "pens") for the nice ink lines.
