I graduated from Coventry in 2003 - had the best time of my life there. There will always be those who pan Coventry for being a cr*phole - its not, but it does have dodgy areas like just about all cities. Dont go too far into Stoke/Hillfields and its all good.

Can thoroughly recommend the Halls of Residence experience. Immense sense of camaraderie and a LOT of beer.

You're there for a good time, but not a long time, so ENJOY!

such a fantastic uni to study at..i got unconditionals to Cov/Raehampton/Plymouth and Brighton but chose Cov and Ive never regretted it. Advertising and Media is a brilliant course!! :)

Motorsport engineering for me, city hasnt got the architecture on its side but nightlife here and in birmingham/leicester is awesome.

Coventry University is one of the best Universities of UK. No doubt about that. Only Problem In living in Coventry City is that, there are no jobs for students, it is very difficult to survive here if you want to study and work on the same time. It is not that there is absolutely no job, but it is very difficult to get jobs in Coventry City. Other than that, Coventry University itself is worth spending money for study.

I'm doing a BA (Hons) in Eng & Tefl at Cov. There are modules that contribute to lit like writing for the theatre and short story workshop. However getting books on lit is a bit tough from Cov Uni library, most go to Warwick for books on lit. Not sure if there is a joint degree that would incorperate media though. Get in touch with the head of Eng Lang he's really helpful.

I would have had a chance to attend Coventry, but chose to go to Canterbury instead because I was misinformed...and now here I am, regretting my choice.

I feel the same...I went to the Coventry open day back 3 years ago and totally loved it, I put down the course as my second choice but ended up getting better grades so I stayed in Northern Ireland. I feel like I havent embraced culture were I chose to stay and I regret it, for anyone out there please think carefully about were you want to go, I would have chose Cov uni if I knew how disappointing my course was here in NI.

oh god. i dnt no where 2 go. i went 2 a CU visit day last tuesdy 4 the pure and simple fact that Bex from big bro 9 livs in cov. stupid reason i no...bt anyway...

i went to a Huddersfield uni open day and that was good. the course was the one i wanted and the accomodation was good. coventry i need to speak to a lecturer or something to find out about the course...and the accomodation was a bit pants...but i really wanna go there because of bex...but thats a stupid reason to go somewhere :S

i go to cov uni, and bex from big bro was at our freshers ball in 08...i dont think she'll be coming back because she got booed off the stage and bottles thrown at her...its very unlikely you will see her...but cov uni is very good! its brilliant for uni, and for night life!
