yea! the original guyver series was great, doesnt matter if it doesnt follow the manga as close as the remake. true classic, even if the story hasent been finished in the old ova series was just to awesome, i still got the VHS Tapes version i bought back then.

Talk about a Cartoon with good movie potential and the movie's butchered it Lol.

Dont get me wrong i saw the oringinal guyver movie when it came out in the late 80's i was like 5 years old and thought it was cool.

Now tho the movie is just really corny and the sequel while slightly better still didnt do it justice.

Super-hero's even the cheesey ones are being brought to the big-screen or Rebooted.

Doesnt look to good for ''Guyver'' tho. Real shame since it has potential to be a good film.

Guyver was the first hero I remember seeing die, as a young kid I was like No wait the goodguy cant die, not like that, but then he regenerates from the control metal which was the most epic comeback I had ever seen.

Sho must be the only guy in existence who is actually harder and more badass while dead or unconscious.

I mean he has his brain ripped out at one point and the guyver just keeps going like some evil alien energizer bunny.

Wake up guyver 1...before you completely pawn everyone .

Read the title, says Guyver resurection, not Sho... AND for example, when Sho gets his brains ripped out, or his arms torn off, and they regenerate, its still him being replicated. Like when he kills his dad, when he heals up, its obviously not the same sho, coz he would have died, and regenerated. tis all relative and complicated. But yeah, its obv not the original Sho

the GUYVER Unit used his cells to clone him. the Control metal (little silver orb thingie) copied his memories and his Genetic Profile. when it was ripped out of his head, it replicated his GP and memories and made itself a new Sho. that's not the real Sho, he is just a copy made by the Unit.

When the control metal was ripped out, the symbiotic organism that the GUYVER UNIT is based upon was free to eat Sho alive. So Sho was eaten alive and then the symbiote was killed by Enzime's corosive blood.

Yes, Sho is actually killed. But they fail to destroy the control metal, and his inteir body regenerates from just that. His consciousness was probably stored in the control metal.

Again, is there an episode or comic that said "Its not the same Sho. its a clone" or "His consiouseness, (soul? whatever) was stored and he regenerated himself" ? yeah, i prefer the old series too...the new series doesnt have the same effect with the fights, and i dont know, i cant relate as much, although the quality of the animation is alot better...this one still rules though! Guyver foreverr (they need to make a new film!!)

actualy he did die... the armor can ressurect the host. Still cool though. As for a new movie, I;d love to see one, so long as it wasn't made by the same people who did Fantastic 4 or if it were released as a B movie. I'd rather have the guy who did the Terminator and Titanic Direct it.

OH hellya! A new film would be awsome! I am surprised no new adaptations haev been made yet....So much can be done with guyver. And, yes the old series is the shit. Its what i rem watching for the first time as a second grader.....took me this long to rediscover it =(

I luv this version of guyver- not the new ones, it's just that the anime LOOKS BETTER in my opinion, NEways, the sanime is brilliant! I luv the part when guyver is ressurected- hs is so damn strong when the guyver's power is fully accessed. NEways, the anime i DEFINITELY APPROVE. :)
