Thank you Ipohteh! Great Job! Like I said before in the other songs. I grew up with all this songs in the 80s and have Victor, Kim Leng, Maniam and many others as our bros and sisters at SKE Malacca.
Victor Wee taught us this hymn back in 77 at Brickfields Temple when I was in UTM, Jalan Gurney. It sure brings back a lot of memories. I have been listening to this and few others that I am familiar with these few days. Your guys did a good job. Special gratitude to Victor Wee. Could I have your permission to play this and few other hymns at our temple here in Southern California?
Datuk Victor Wee is a great Dhammaduta worker and he he composed many nice Buddhist songs. Am glad to have the opportunity to share the song with you and shall feel glad too that you are going to sing this and a few other songs in your Buddhist temple .
how i hope that over here in sg,our groups will walk and be more involved in correcting their funeral rituals, instead of the commercial kind. That is totally unBuddhist.
singing really brings out lots of emotions and thoughts, may the dhamma shines in all. And i hope that this song will be propagated and use in funeral service.
Thanks for the comment and suggestion. Our Buddhsit Society, namely the PBHP does Buddhist wake service and this song is among the few Buddhist songs that might be sung indeed. May you be well and happy.
It is indeed a nice song and I do hope you would a chance to sing this song in the temple soon. BTW, what temple is it ? I suppose you like singing too. May you be well and happy.
