I had exact ideas for Toad when it came to his moveset, but 2 of them were different. My suggestion, you know how you had Toad have this special ability to jump higher once he is done charging? Why dont that super jump be his Up B. And as far as his Side B, my idea was for him to throw a pair of Mario Party dice at his enemies. Toad is one of the few characters overall I want playable. Good job on the moveset. He should be playable.

Great moveset! Toad definately deserves to make it to smash. He's been neglected for too long now and he should now get his chance to shine again. He's already been in mario 2 and starred in Wario's woods and with new super mario bros wii on the way I'm sure Toad will get a even greater chance to being playable instead of being Peach's shield.

I just set it up by connecting my NES to my TV, and then composite OUT cords to my vidbox. It worked fine. I actually upgraded to 4.0 recently, but my new computer has Windows XP, the video recordings are a little laggy, and windows movie maker doesn't support widescreen, so I'll have to use my brother's computer.

Why would anyone WANT Toad in the game? What would his final smash be, informing the other players that the princess was in another castle? What would be his moveset? Up B would be cowering in fear as the princess was kidnapped. I could really see him as a replacement for the sandbag, that fits in with his character nicely.

@yarisplay06 Not all moves have to be based on a game. Just look at Captain Falcon and Fox, who were only designed as pilots prior to Super Smash Bros., despite this, the creators used their creativity to invent their own unique moveset for them. I'd say that more than half of any character's moveset is unique to Super Smash Bros., only a handful of moves are based on something. So trust me, the day Toad will be a playable character, he will have his own creative and unique moveset.

its kinda the opposite because the real ROB picked up light flashes from the tv screen to opperate. but the robot with eye lazers is kind of a cliche, so they did that. his base never shot fire either.

well, thats not really mist its smoke from the impact of the fast and hard attack, to make it look more painful on toad. and if theyd put in toad, nott only would that violate the fact of it bieng a game with ALLSTARS in it, but that would mean peach couldnt be in it (the toad move). and, since when was smashbros ds confirmed? i know you never said it WAS, but it seems like you were trying to imply this when you said if nintendos watching this to "consider these ideas".

no! toad's an all star and tell me honestly what about the ice climbers they only had ONE game and look at them now they got people wanting more, and if you ask me, toad has plenty of moves to use in a smash game from both wario's woods and super mario bros 2: mario madness add the spores from brawl and moveset's complete. oh btw not all the characters from smash are main playable characters try falco and zelda (sure falco can be played in assault but that wasnt 64 caliber)

well, first off, ice climbers are a whole other story. remembered my nintendo since they were one of the first NES/ arcade games, and they thought it would be interesting to add a unique character such as ice climbers, where you play as 2 people at once.

secondly, zelda was a main character,she was almost as important as link in the story, plus had a possible moveset. falco made it in since hes like foxs sidekick

aside from the mario madness thing (which i didnt know about) toad DOESNT expell spores, or any gay "mushroom mist" crap. i said this in one of my earlier comments, the stuff coming out of him is smoke. it exaggerates the impact of the hit delivered to toad, to make it seem like the attack was very severe.

the reason the enemy is hurt after punching toad is because toads mushroom- like head is bouncy (proven when jumping on toads in mario sunshine) so the hit would spring back at the opponent.

toad expelling smoke i don't follow nor believe you because it says on smashwiki and i quote, "Upon being hit, Toad will emit a shower of spores to do damage." why cant you equate spores with a mushroom like toad. in fact from EVEN THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE its says: "The spores spread out in a fanlike flurry. The closer the opponent, the more damage you can deal.", argument about toad over.
