Dont get me wrong Scott Herman is a beast, even though he has a lot of haters....but seriously the creativity and effectivness of Jeff's workouts are unmatched by anybody. Also, i dont know how old he is but he is defenitly older than scott and is ripped...for any age he as a great body....final vote, Jeff is rawer Scott.

  • I quit the gym, so, while walking the dog at the beach (and while no one is looking) I've started picking up rocks & doing biceps/triceps/shoulders. Nothing much, but my forearms are bigger than ever!

    Holding a 15Kg rock is waay more difficult than holding a 15Kg dummbell :)

  • Thank man, this will help a lot. I've see numerous people with huge upper arms, chest, ripped abs, but no forearms muscle. When your wearing a shirt the only thing people will see is your forearms. So i kinda realized that I definitely need to be working in some forearms exercises.

  • @ArmyOvOneInc If you want to have an even number body. Do the most you can. don't worry about numbers. And besides, weight workouts are the best. Body-weight exercises are the best. Pull ups, dips, muscle-ups, pushups, handstand pushups, pistol squats.

  • for the 'Olympic curls', what you could do is have a thick piece of doweling and drill a hole through it, and put about a 4 foot string on it with 5-10 pounds on it ......hold your arms horizontally and twist the string up the bar......price efficient information by a teen-ager ;)

  • Jeff, I have neglected by forearms for far too long. I did these workouts yesterday, and was I ever tired afterwards. I want to get my forearms big as fast as possible, so I am wondering how often I should work them. Like you said, we use these muscles all day long, so does that mean they can be worked almost everyday, like the abs? I've heard conflicting things on how often I should work the forearms, so your advice would be great, Thanks!

  • Great workout! I've adapted it a bit because I don't have an olympic bar so I'm doing the other ones twice. Also I replaced the plates with 5kg dumbbells to which I pinch the bar with the tip of my fingers. The tubing can be found in any sports section of a store for like 5 euros. So here is a workaround for people who don't have the equipment he uses.

    I have to ask the most common question. How often should I do the workout? Is it ok if I do it every two days with the abs and chest workouts?

  • What would happen if you don't spread your feet evenly for the tubing/resistance band portion? Could it lead to a better workout for one of your arms?

  • Just do barbell curls and dumbell curls. They work the forearms a great deal. In a couple years your forearms should look great...heck, mine are looking good after 2 months of heavy lifting (the heaviest i can curl for 6-8 reps for up to 3 sets)

  • WTF?? Working out your forearms? I always do pull ups, chin ups, bicep curls and hammers, and all of it target my forearms.. I tried working out my forearms but it just sore so much from the other exercise. My forearms btw looks like popeye..

  • I spoken to Greg Plitt about training forearms and he does have large forearms. He said he doesn't train them other than do pull ups, and jack off to ugly women because it takes longer...? I prefer the pull up side myself!
