Regnier was such a complete and utter beast. Playing as him was just as easy. Dropping 3 squads of the Pope's guard to half health in a single attack. Brutal.

@RegimentFORCER only the 1st 2 missions i struggled with (well mainly the 2nd as the 1st took forever due to them pesky earth golems) but after that it was a walk in the park unfortunately i found moreens campaign harder tbh
@RegimentFORCER i hung back and supported hugh with my longbows. i cried a sigh of relif when the tactic actually paid off, but was enraged when i only got 1000 exp when clearly i should've gotten alot more.
protip: general Hugh's forces are just as invincible as renigers in battle. if you keep Geralds forces out of the fight, and just make your archers fire upon them, reniger will be taken down and you will gain max experience for your archers (he won't be killed, the game still continues as it was supposed to. and it certainly takes a while. but you still gain all possible experience archers can gain)

KUF The Crusaders is the first Xbox game then they made a prequel KUF Heros...Then the 360 had Circle of Doom which ain't the best game ever but its good if your bored or have some friends to play it with...KUF2 will be like Crusaders and Heros so it looks to be pretty good.

if you want to take like 1 hour, he dies you just have to wait for the little lvl 11 guy take down big bad boss man, more exp for archers if you set them aside also lower the range so its little only time you have it bigger if more then 3 troops are there. (axe men rule)

btw there is a cheat on this level where after gerald is told to retreat from the battle with regnier you can just move away and leave the archers to kill regnier, It takes about 20 minutes but you get thousands of xp for it. And then General Hugh just sits there, It's really funny :)
@ThePetewar i just discovered yesterday that it worked on the 360 oO cuz i tried bfore heroes and it didnt work so i didnt bother to try the first one cuz if the second one duidnt work i thought the first one wouldnt for sure lol
I remember playing this game. One of my most favourite xbox games of all time! I remember that during the scene where you are told to run from Regnier, I ran but I stood just outside of combat. The character who is distracting Regnier is in godmode, so I told my archers to fire a constant barrage at Regnier while the godmode ally fought. It took about 30 - 60 minutes, but Regnier finally died. The level didn't change at all, but when I finished the level I got a massive exp reward ^-^
@GRENTHSNOOB Yeah it's a bug. The developers really expected you to run away. Hugh won't die though so you can leach a lot of experience with archers. It's good to get a bonus exp or SP bow before this level. Really adds to the gold/exp.

This level is the best for levelling up. After you do the fire part a sign that says "300" will apear on the screen, if you pause and go to "Exit to World map" you will keep the points, also when you are told to run (after the fire part) if you keep your archers there to attack Regnier, you will get alot of points and money.
@TheTF242 you still fighting with gerald and reigneir you atack them with archers and you help with heal your army of reigneir then like in 10 min you defeat them... and you can see reignier in the floor with his sword and all his orcs dead...
but hugh never movess.... of that posicion... if you kill reignier... doesnt matter in the story apairs that hugh dead but you had an extra XP ... goood luck man iam in mexico sorry for my english bro
Hey you know the part where you fall back and your captian hughe fights regenier after you fire the woods. You can let your archers sit back and kill regnier and get alot of exp.

For anyone who may still play through this again, it's entirely possible to defeat Regnier at this point, for a massive exp bonus. Don't retreat, just be shit hot with casting curatio. Of course, the story is still the same after beating him, Hugh still dies.
Regnier the biggest badass in the KuF universe..and he gets an evil upgrade in KuF2 :).....i swear every 3months i pull out my xbox and play crusaders again it is IMO the perfect balance of action and stradegy gameplay sad this game never won any major game awards *sigh*
Some thing you can do when you fight regnire for the second time, retreat and have your archers keep fireing, have gerald wait near by. This will get you more kills. Takes about 7 to 8 mins.

Yeah, you can have Gerald retreat and leave the archers behind to assist Hugh. Hugh's unit is actually invincible, while Regnier will die. You'll get massive experience for killing his high level unit. However, the rest of the game will act as though Hugh died anyway. Still, it's a good way to pump up Gerald early on.
Nice video.. this was a very intense moment in the early game. It makes you feel like you're really being thrown into these epic situations, but yet you can easily handle it because they give you hints.

@brutallegend1100 your best bet is to look at other shops like gamestop.. if not look online.. games a little old so they dont make them anymore.. its a classic though IF you can get your hands on a copy .. your search would have been worth while

Wah T[]T Out of Heroes ad Crusaders, the only campaigns I havent beat are Reignier's and Kendall's, merely because my game messes up during midplay no matter how many times I clean it -.-; oh and its fun as hell once you beat urukubarrs campaign :D I used him on all of ellen's missions 8D plus you get archers once you beat his campaign lol
um they where like infinite everything so i could cast like 5 million meteors on a unit nothing could touch me it was a soft mod i think and it was like a gameshark type of thing it was awesome
I'd also like Kendal and Walter to team up. They always seemed like they should be a team. However, given Walter's current status that probably won't happen.
Kendal seems like an unusual hero to take on Regnier though. He was always being used by other characters. I'd rather have Glen be the great hero. Either way, I get the feeling if they do kill Regnier, they'll need a lot more than just one hero to do it.
However, I'm rooting for Regnier! Villians derserve to win sometimes too!
I wish they would bring Walter back, he was my homeboy. I had a level 99 Walter online and wrecked a lot of people with him. He was definitely my favorite character, insane story too. That man goes balls to the wall to get his job done. When Walter lights up, your men get Holy Explosion, and you regenerate health. Hehe, the whole time I was playing as him I was wanting to fight Regneir, surely enough I did, and Regneir got spanked. Man I can't wait for KUF2.

You'll get massive experience for killing his high level unit. However, the rest of the game will act as though Hugh died anyway. Still, it's a good way to pump up Gerald early on.

Nice video.. this was a very intense moment in the early game. It makes you feel like you're really being thrown into these epic situations, but yet you can easily handle it because they give you hints.

THis Game IS BADASS!!! the music is sick!!!! gets me hyped! and the story line is sick too. i miss it. dont make them like this anymore. cant wait till Kingdom under fire II comes out!

Wah T[]T Out of Heroes ad Crusaders, the only campaigns I havent beat are Reignier's and Kendall's, merely because my game messes up during midplay no matter how many times I clean it -.-; oh and its fun as hell once you beat urukubarrs campaign :D I used him on all of ellen's missions 8D plus you get archers once you beat his campaign lol

um they where like infinite everything so i could cast like 5 million meteors on a unit nothing could touch me it was a soft mod i think and it was like a gameshark type of thing it was awesome

I'd also like Kendal and Walter to team up. They always seemed like they should be a team. However, given Walter's current status that probably won't happen.
Kendal seems like an unusual hero to take on Regnier though. He was always being used by other characters. I'd rather have Glen be the great hero. Either way, I get the feeling if they do kill Regnier, they'll need a lot more than just one hero to do it.
However, I'm rooting for Regnier! Villians derserve to win sometimes too!

I wish they would bring Walter back, he was my homeboy. I had a level 99 Walter online and wrecked a lot of people with him. He was definitely my favorite character, insane story too. That man goes balls to the wall to get his job done. When Walter lights up, your men get Holy Explosion, and you regenerate health. Hehe, the whole time I was playing as him I was wanting to fight Regneir, surely enough I did, and Regneir got spanked. Man I can't wait for KUF2.
