I have only a small (50'x8') patch of golden flax. This is the first video that addresses the harvesting in a way that makes it clear that the flax must be dried, seeds removed, and only then retted. Thanks!

Marvellous material - I had a flax tarpaulin at least that was what I was told it was left in UK by the yanks after they left in 1945 I imagine. I was still using it in 1990 to cover my boat which remained as dry as a bone.
