can't believe how unprofessional you are! any stylist would not be using a brush on wet hair and this cause a U shape in the layers.. which is horrible! I hope no one pays you to do this to their hair.. I would pay you a cent!

i wouldnt say this is good for design, but its a good way to get rid of split ends or to neaten up your hair if you need to, i know mine goes really fine an bitty at the ends an this is a good techinique for fixing that. Just my opinion :)

just a cheap transient layers, but i dont know many scissors that could cut through all that hair in one go without giving a blunt look.

you never want to cut the peremiter of the hair when touching up layers, and do each layered section half an inch to an inch at a time with your guide

no i've done it this way before. of course you have to even out the layers and texturize but when you've been doing hair for 30 some years it really is the easiestway to create a square layer. but normally you pull everything to the crown

i think this video is showing people how to cut your own hair, which is good how he makes it easy, give the guy a break. I know loads of people who cut their own hair this way and it looks good and doesnt cost them anything.

Stop brushing! I feel sorry for this girl. Why couldn't he use detangler! Waste of my time! He's pulling her head back like way too much!! And that's not the way you do it, I mean no one would do there one hair, you would just go to the salon. My friend's mom works at a salon and she did it totally diffrent. and it is still perfect!

These videos are tosh. They are all the same. Pull up hair to one point and hack it off basically. How many friggin times did he comb it? Look at this "salon" I swear there is a vice in there - probably to place his client's jaw into to stop them running away. This is simply AWFUL.

@Levintagee yes i agree. first, this man is RIPPING the hairbrush through this woman's WET hair. any "expert" i've ever heard says NOT to brush wet hair because it will cause more breakage. but this "expert village" guys says, "Just keep brushing brushing brushing..." I would never cut my hair in the manner described in this video. it would just be a mish mash of random cuts once you took it down. but it looked kind of pro because he had her sitting in a salon-like setting.

Looks Like it might be good, but sure wish I could hear the sound! I tried everything & can't get the volume up so I can hear you!

Another suggestion: black hair against the background of your black shirt doesn't show up near as well as if the hair or your shirt were a lighter color - for more contrast.

But, thank you for your effort. It gave ma an idea about how I might cut my own very long hair.
