  • Thanks for uploading this. I've always loved Mahler. I've studied Nietzsche. I just recently discovered Schopenhauer. What serendipity to find this documentary to see how they all connect.

  • Beautiful study! My favorite symphony. Love Mahler. So appropriate that Mahler's philosopher was the great Shopenhauer.

  • Sorry to be so pessimistic here guys but Benjamin Zander's essay on this symphony is a lot more informative, accurate, and self-fulfilling.
