y'all can record your vhs tapes onto DVD...just get one of the combo vhs/dvd players .... that's how i did it....got to keep my favorite tapes and didn't have to pay to replace them all when and IF they came out on dvd

What? Of course they didn't cut this from the newest release, because it is an integral part of the film! Granted, the lyrics are a big sappy, and the singing amusing since it's done by Jeff Bridges, but the entire scene is still timeless and romantic. I'll be lifelong fan!
