  • Minecraft isn't really computer legos. Blockland would be more accurate. Minecraft is more of an N64 styled Skyrim.

  • legos=reality

    minecraft=computer game

  • Why does everyone call them "Legos"?

  • minecraft=computer lego's

  • i can't believe my comment is top comment, and i wasn't saying that these are TOTALLY better than legos, i mean... Legos you can probably do a lot more with, but these blocks are more child safe...

Let's just say to keep lego for the "big boys" :)

Just saying for all you lego fans out there :)

But still... These blocks: Pros: Child safe, a lot less foot stabbing or skin pinching, they stick toghether easier. Cons: Pets will eat them and kids might tempt chewing on them...

    Da end... :)

  • Wow, these are gorgeous and cool! I love how the bricks look like real bricks LOL

  • i know someone that has this just a little different the top is closed and more colors its really wierd...

  • Top comment 1 I AGREE.

    Top comment 2 MINECRAFT :D

  • @thetoychannel if you can find some, could you review american plastic bricks? they were my grandpa's favorite toy when he was a kid. if you cant find any, thats ok. thx! :)

  • I want 1!!!!:D

  • epic win

  • neat concept

  • hey i have a ton of those that were my grand fathers. they are super awesome.

  • awesome

  • @Marioroops i cant even see the thumbs down

  • 3 words: better than lego

  • (Y) neat

  • EPIC! :D

  • I love minecraft because its like Digital Legos

  • That's awesome

  • There were blocks like those at my infant school :D

  • Has an one ever stepped on a lego, those things are evil mother fuckers

  • wish they still had these

  • The kids could really see the building coming to life, so to speak.

  • I would say Lego is better than these...but they canceled Bionicle and gave us little midgets with garage weapons. so...These are awesome. X)

  • MIke - Where were these made? PS- I like the vintage toys the best :)

  • @marneydog Made in USA, Most toys were Made in USA until 1990. Only really cheap toys were made in Japan or Hong Kong up to that point.

  • I think I remember these, and I'm young.., I love the windows

  • almost looks like some of the HO scale model railroad buliding sets that are easy to assemble

  • first minecraft toys

  • @jman76125 exept no creepers yay

  • @jman76125 Great Comment!

  • Comment removed

  • They should remake these! OwO

  • I remember playing with my Grandfather's set when I was little!

  • :megusta:

  • i want to build it and have Godzilla and Gundam and other giant robots and monsters run threw it

  • LEGO's forgotten brother?

  • I knew they looked familiar! They DO look a lot like the bricks they use in math classes. I remember them having us use them to measure and count!

  • Those bricks look like cubes we used in math class back in public school

  • You should do like.. a time-lapse video of you building these. Y'know.. just record at a low FPS, then play it back at 'normal' FPS.

  • lego=old school minecraft

  • @MrDeathPie3000 Minecraft ftw!

  • @MrDeathPie3000 I swear Minecraft is everywhere these days.

  • @MrDeathPie3000 Creepers were so much friendlier back then

  • @12strawberrylover they were and then we didn't have to worry about endermen

  • @MrDeathPie3000 *nod*

  • @MrDeathPie3000 Gibbs Main Street Building Bricks = new school minecraft

  • @OmagaMinion but this gibbs main street is older then both legos and minecraft!

  • I wish I had those. I like making stuff legos so I would actually enjoy making stuff with those things. :D

  • three reasons why these are better than legos and should be out today:

1: they wont really hurt you if u get ur skin snapped in one

2: They are probably easier to use

    3: just plain epic :D

Thumbs up if u agree XD

  • @donesleyPROD85 for younger children, this would be fine, but normal legos are more versatile for more complicated models

these would be somewhere between normal legos and lego duplo

    this is just my opinion

  • @donesleyPROD85 they probably don't cost a large down payment ether

  • @donesleyPROD85 You forgot one thing - 4: they probably won't hurt as much if you step on one

  • @donesleyPROD85 who do you think you are! legos are the best blocks ever! others are lego wanna be's!

  • @blaketsteelers What the F*ck are you going on about? #1, its my opinion #2 this came out BEFORE legos!!! WATCH VIDEO BEFORE YOU COMMENT!!! XD, lol!

  • @donesleyPROD85 F*** YOU

  • @2001LegoFan What did i do? This DID come out before Lego so HA- i think that is win :)

  • Haha, my parents had those in a giant cylinder like the box Mike has them in. I used to make little brick people for a little brick city. The people looked like the clump of bricks in the middle of the screen at 0:13 with the smaller brick on top.

  • I wish I had that!

  • definitely win!

  • OMG I HAD THAT! A verrrry long time ago. My dad put it together but somehow over the course of my childhood we lost a lot of the pieces and then threw it out but... yeah I totally had one of those! Although I might've had a later version... still though, those blocks, totally had those.

  • I was only born in 1983 but, I swear I remember something like these. Maybe it was a knock off or something. Does anyone else born around the 80s remember something like these?

  • I remember that you always had to leave lego to "set" for a day before you could move it without parts falling off.. of course, back then I stacked the same shapes in neat little towers rather than making a brick pattern, so they were pretty flimsy anyway..

  • lego video games ruined the system i grew up with. i couldn't imagine how this could develop into a video game, and that's good. i especially like that it was not intended just for boys. it would have been weird playing legos with a girl when i was a kid, but i suppose it was more or less a marketing thing.

  • I like these better than legos, legos are sharp safty hazard and are a pain to take apart and play with

  • Lego become piece of shit recantly. The bricks are not well-fitting and they tend to break for no damn reason. I had some Lego figures and vehicles in my Star Wars collection yet they broke! and i didnt even play with them. I just placed them on display on my shelf.

  • WOW. The quality of graphics and design intelligence in layout for both the BOX and the instruction blows my mind. That is classic, textbook good design - timeless! just like the concept of the toy!

  • I've spotted a potential problem with them though... beign that they can only stack vertically, directly on top of the bricks below the number of possible arrangements is exceedingly limited compared to lego

  • Wow those look amazing. With that soft plastic they would they be less painful to step on in you bare feet?

  • build it

  • I would like to own it for just that store front alone!!

  • ( ').(. )

  • Wow, and now the best they can do with building block set is imitate video games and movies :(

  • Cool - IMO they actually look better than Lego Bricks.

  • :O i got a box full of these once :O ... There were me grandpa's old toys

  • pretty neat that they included extra building options in the instructions.

LEgos just give you the main thing you're supposed to build, and pictures of other things you can make but are most likely not creative enough to do so

  • Looks like something we used in Maths...

and also; why do Americans say legos? Even the LEGO group says that is incorrect!

  • @LuxVertas It's not only Americans who say legos.

  • @LuxVertas Nope, Just americans! I know no one else from any nation, english speeking or otherwise...

  • @LuxVertas Must be where the "S" In "Maths" went, if you know what i mean.

  • @marine368 hehehe... So you like Dr Ashen's stuff!

  • @LuxVertas A fan of Ashens, Language and awesome things in general.

Now that dodgy twit, Grammar, Him and i do not work together.

  • When are you posting the Harry Potter doll.

  • More building toys!

  • lego originaly started with wooden toys, would you have any of these mike? and true the idea wasnt the first, but legos are still great!

  • I have these! I remember paying with them when i was like 6 with my friend, we found an old box of them in the closet and starting playing with them.

  • I remember these, but I dont remember from where.

  • This looks SO much better than legos!

  • This is amazing! I actually really like this set.

  • so where's the dirty bit

  • lol when i was in first grade we had those and we would always make fake guns with them and played around with them

  • balls

  • can you make a more in depth video?

  • Lego is said to be the greatest and most succesful toy ever. It doesnt surprise me it had to evolve from somewhere.

  • in scale wise how are they next a hot wheels or matchbox car (matchbox being the smaller car)

  • They look like Monopoly Hotels.

  • i wonder if they still sell them, well i know what ill be looking for at the flea market

  • thumps up 4 viewer 302

  • that looks awsome

  • GASSSSP. It's been... so long. :O

  • I CAN'T TELL IF YOU ARE BEING SARCASTIC ANYMORE

  • I bet those don't hurt as much to step on.
