  • @Syvord Rapidshare says "Waiting Sucks!", but that's not true. Rapidshare sucks, because how more you download, the longer you need to wait!

    fix' d

  • If the game looked this good way back when, we would've shit our pants. XD

  • dang how many people are downloading this every time i try it says wait 2 minutes

  • This is what it could have looked like it the 64 didn't have a limited texture cache of 4 KB, and a tiny 64MB cart limit.

Good job on this re-texture work!

  • holy shit

  • it looks like sm64 wii

  • super mario 64 for the xbox360!!

  • @CalmBluFire Just Kidding dude, this is much better!

  • i didnt get where hires_texture was someone hlp

  • THIS should be what SM64 DS looks like.

  • The DS doesn't have the proper GPU to handle this shit.

  • even though the ds is more powerful than the n64, it still can't handle this kind of stuff. This looks like a gamecube game with low polygon count

  • the inside walls are breathtaking...

  • my god shes beautiful

  • i'm sorry for commenting alot but when i created rice i didnt save it in a C:// document but in an E:// document. I'm realy confused!

  • E:// is in most cases your CD drive, whenyou extract it from the archive extract it to a folder in your C:\ drive

  • Ok the rice is instaled but the changing the zip is my problem

  • hey I am trying to setup the rice thingy download but it says it may harm my comp. I need help cause i really want this texture for my machinima!

  • wtf? Is there anyways I can just dopwnload a rom and play it? It would seem that simple. can sone help me out I really wanna play this on my project 64 and I dont know shit about retexturing

  • I posted a link to download a zip file that has a pre-setup version of Project 64 that will be ready for retexturing.

If you want to do it on your own version of project 64, there is a tutorial that you can try to follow. It's a little bit of a hassle, but it's do-able. I added a link in the description to the tutorial.

It's not a different rom, it's the normal super mario 64 rom, just textures saved seperately and a special Rice video plugin that uses those external textures.

  • thanks man!

one problem.. that .zip link you have in the descriptions not working.. :'(

  • @niny322

Basically, because of the limitations of N64 roms, you can't put the textures RIGHT in the game, they have to be loaded.. almost like a CD based 3D game, it has to load the info.

  • @Lianas1980 not true, download the Super Sonic 64 rom, has textures embedded within the z64 file

  • HOLY!!!!!

  • i just found out before i watched this video i was amazed this texture pack looks totally real and stuff no cartoony goofy stuff... that's how i like a game!

    Flames540

  • WOW NICE GRAPHICS
