I found about 18 rolls of developed film from the 30s and 40s, that was at the bottom of an old box of slides from the 80's, my father's friend bought a house and was about to throw out the box cause he thought it was junk(he didn't know the photos where there) the prev owners didn't get a chance to fully clean out the house when they sold it. some on a destroyer during WWII and other scene's with B-17s in formation :) they are amazing to look at :D
I've been looking at your Lost Films page for quite a while now...It's one of the best out there IMHO. One request...any way you could date your updates? With as many as are on there now it's always hard to tell the updates.
I just finished browsing your entire site and all the photographs. Wonderful, funny, poignant and sad. I remembered things from when I was a child that I'd forgotten and saw things in some of the pictures that I had or still have. How wonderful that someone is doing this. Don't worry about what people say about your comments. You're not hurting anyone and, without you, the photos would've been completely lost. Just wonderful, historic pictures.
Absolutely fantastic! I love this amazing clip... This may sound off the wall but i believe i am bit teary eyed. Please try and continue these projects. Bravo! Regards, Bill Lee
This is an amazing and wondeful thing you've done. Bringing these to life after all these years....wow. I've gotten a few old cameras but none had film in them. The stories these pictures tell...and the stories we'll never know.
