  • It's a shame, you didn't learn anything, or go to a school that seems accredited in terms of basic knowledge. Racer's have been running open headers for years, including myself. If you were more in depth with engine building as opposed to repairing you might know that. Having your name on a shirt, doesn't mean you know what your talking about or doing. When was the last time you worked on a 50 or 100 thousand dollar motor? These are the people I work with and trust. Not some oil-lackey.

  • You know nothing about engines.

  • actually it can, too low of exhaust back pressure will burn the exhaust valves, b/c it will suck in cold air onto the back of the hot valve

  • Actually it can't. You seem to forget that simple physics make what you're talking about impossible. It is impossible for cold air to naturally flow into a hot combustion chamber. Thermal dynamics prove that hot air will and always flow out. It will do this until the two temperatures match, at which point the valve is already cooled. Stop perpetuating a myth that you don't understand.

  • fuck u, end.

  • Don't feel bad. It's very common for people who actually know nothing about mechanics to chime in and start spewing dumb shit. It's just a simple lack of education. I suggest you take a look at M.T.I. or M.M.I. Both are really good schools to teach you about bikes. That way you won't sound like a total idiot when you leave comments.

  • mmmm i love stupid kids who spew about physics....lol...preach on professor..hahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA good luck at mc donalds

  • hey dumb fuck, why dont U goto one. ive already graduated from an automotive trade school

  • actually i need to correct myself, the cold air part IS indeed correct, but i forgot its the cold air from the intake stroke coming in while the exhaust valve is open (due to valve overlap) THAT is where the cold air is coming from. the lasck of back pressure will allow the intake air (cold air and cold fuel) to flow over the exhaust valve, causing it to become damaged forgive me almighty master of automotive knowledge for doubting you and thinking that ANYONE else might know anything you do..

  • thats going to damage the motor, make sure you put the exhaust back on bro

  • yea man! DONT WORRY PEOPLE THATW AS THE ONLY TIME I DID IT! just to see wot it sounds like and show u guys aswel! the baby ninja remains undamaged XD
