A palav is that, when many years ago in sindh, the husbands were going for business on ships in sea, then wives were requesting to god JHULE LAL to keep them away from any harm which could be happen in the between the sea, as jhulelal is the varun dev means god of water.

now in india to get every blessing from god all sindhis are doing a pray that is nothing but  called a PALAV.
