Political Correctness, like many things originated by the Left, started off for a good reason; an attempt to use social pressure to stop people from using openly racist terms. Nina Totenberg did not say she " wished " anyone would get AIDS. What she said (and I just watched the clip) was in relation to Sen. Helms constant gay-bashing. The comment was that he better hope the Lord doesn't bring retributive justice his way or he or his grandkids would get AIDS. She was calling on Helms to reconsider his strong homophobic opinions because karma's a bitch. Plain & simple. Nice try though Juan.
