Sorry dude...I'm a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder owner. There is a huge problem with these vehicles. Defective Radiator leaks coolant into transmission destroying it. Expect $6,500 in replacement costs. Also, the Fuel Sensor fails early on - expect your fuel guage to always read empty. Also expect the window buttons to fail very early on. This is a Lemon. I don't even think the 2006-2008 fixed these issues.

@ISniffDirtyPanties I bet it reflects back to you because that seems like you haven't had your coolant flushed or hoses replaced hell you may have ran the engine to hot, if you haven't noticed the Pathfinder does NOT have a rev limiter drive it correctly and it will be fine I have a 2005 Pathfinder no problems.

@worldchampion1986 Lol, probably not, but there was recently a warranty extension for the radiator since it is known to crack (Nissan USA admitted this) the warranty is extended to 96 months or 130k miles whichever comes first.

@dijornopizza Two wheel drive is when the power is at the rear wheel also known as RWD which is standard on most SUV and Pickups today. Four wheel drive aka 4WD is when there is equal power to each wheel so each tire gets 25% of the power this makes it easier to get out of mud and other situations. Four wheel drive on cars is known as all wheel drive aka AWD they are the same thing.

does the non offroad version do well off road as well?

The S, SE, and LE trim will do just fine in 4WD without hill descent control and hill start assist that is offer in the off-road model. But these other trims doesn't come with the protection of a full underbody skid plates like the off-road.

But Nissan discoutinue the off-road model in 2009. I'll enjoy my 07 LE.
