  • Wat the he'll is the point of the annimations?

  • @bossyossi1

you don't get it becuase you don't have the samurai spirit

  • would love to see a real world replica of the zero-shiki drop shot hahaha...what a load of bullshit that was.

  • @myboomstick zeroshiki dropshot can be possible if theres a deadspot on the court. check the video about "maria sharapova hisense arena incident" the ball will NEVER bounce..and it even shocked me.

  • caN anyone do fujis secret movbe?

  • So how do i record things with my toaster? you seem to have figured it out.

  • If I could talk to that person who did the "snake shot"

I would say "Mada mada dane"

  • the twist serve is cool.. especially in real life.>>

  • twist serve! that was awesome. so epic :)

  • its obvious that federer and roddick watches prince of tennis.

  • that twist serve and buggy whip shot was so wicked.

  • For the people asking if Jack Knife is real, its actually called Backhand Scissor Kick and yes it does exist ;D

  • why is federer is the victim of the first two tricks.

  • All the physically impossible moves (and don't forget their cute but cheesy names) are what makes PoT so fun to watch :) *cough* Swallow Return, Tornado Snake, Tightrope Walking, Invisible Swing ;D

  • weed brought me here

  • Pssh, my friend said he played tennis and the 'twist serve' and 'buggy whip' didn't exist. :P

  • @NaruSakuSasuLver Twist serve does not exits, at least in the way showed in PoT. But if you give the ball enough kick, you'll have something similar as Federer did in the video. Buggy whip also doesn't exist, as already stated the closest to it are Nadal's shots, that guy is crazy! xD

  • I Can Actually use the Buggy Whip/ Jackknife/ Phantom Slice/ Twist Serve and What you Guys like to call the Hadukyo Which I Call The Crouching Slam it's Best On Serve Return For its Low Skip. Which Can Also Be Put into Serve Formation Reminds me of a Low Skipping Rock. I've Learned Nothings Impossible, and to make Possible Impossible. By the Way Buggy Whip isnt straight Shoulda use Nadal Lol. It Curves Some and Has a High Off Turned Bounce which Is Why Nadal Uses It.

  • @mastROfWraiths Cool story bro.

  • best amv as well the song goes really well with the vid makes me get the goosebumps. the excited goosebumps

  • @vokuheila look or even intentionally hitting cord balls repeatedly

  • POT is "realistic"? Yeah, let's see the zero-shiki serve, counters, tezuka zone, hitting players into fences, players taking away each others senses, etc.

  • @vokuheila Without forgetting Kikumarus' Doppleganger lol!

  • freaking anime fags comparing real tennis pros

    smh....

  • Many People here is waiting for the snake shot.

  • i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this video

  • LOL Konomi-san (PoT's mangaka) sometimes refer to these tennis pros' moves and adapt them into PoT. That's why SOME of PoT tennis moves are possible. And also, if you guys already know certain moves are impossible in real life please don't act like you don't know. I can't help but think you guys are just trying to be sarcastic. My opinion entirely. ^^

  • Oh shot Roger fedrer done a kick serve :0

  • I should learn those things~ I can use tat in our Regional Tournament! thanks for uploading!

  • @DenRANA yeah and how most players can server aces and almost never double fault or hit unforced errors. at the start of the series it was more real, but at the end it was just crazy, with all the pinacles of power and tezuka's lightning shot

  • You idoits a kick serve is a twist serve there is a episode of POT that clears the same thing... It was Inui that said it I believe

  • @Blade303 yeah ! your right,

"Prince of tennis Ryoma Vs Shiniji.""Echizen is fully wounded"

  • ne ne I want to see the cyclone smash!

and a flying man like Eiji!

    and also moon salute!

nene what about the REAL Tango Towards Destruction

    And Also "Metal Bell Hit"

nene what about Hakugei? and Hadokyou Boomerang, or Eiji's Clones! Where he couls play Singles or doubles by himself! XD

  • @MarjorieL1 ive done only a few hits like eiji like kikumaru beam but not nearly as many

moon salute i was like....im gonna die if i try this....

i have acually done tango towards destruction once on accident and i was like ore-sama bigi no yoina~ then i told went out of character and started freaking out like eiji

i did like a really short hakugei on accident when i jumped to hit the ball i drop shotted it with so much slice it bounced back on my side.

    and hakuryuu is alot easier.

  • You can add "Acrobatic Tennis" by Kikumaru. There is a real-life counterpart by Santoro when he faced Federer in US Open.

  • I don't see one of the zero ziki shot (probably because it's imposible), but you can do one that bounces back to the other side though.

  • Can anyone find the real life counter part to "swallow return" or any of the other triple counters?

  • Holy shit, Federer's serve was amazing.

  • lol. icedtea. lol.

  • Horrible quality, horrible music, and horrible pictures.

  • Hey everyone which shots in this video do you think is easy?????.?

  • @winonanonato Trick Question? None of them. Unless you have natural talents + a little practice.

  • @winonanonato a twist serve is actually pretty common and not as good as it was in PoT. That and between the legs are probably the easiest, still not easy by any means, but easiest.

  • @winonanonato The Moonvolley is definitely the easiest! At least, I can only do that. XD

  • I feel like you probably should have used Nadal for the example of the Snake. He hits every forehand with the Buggy Whip Motion, and a ton of his forehands have crazy curve on it.

  • @ColAcoustic True but his shots have topspin

  • @Blade303 So did Roddick's shot here. So do Kaidoh's. The Buggy Whip Motion creates a combination of sidespin and topspin (as in, diagonal spin, not impossible combination like topspin and slice on Fuji's Tsubame Gaeshi :P) on the ball. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to start an argument. Just making a suggestion :)

  • goooo!!!! roger federer! i have ur tennis racket!!!! lol

  • Dat is awsome!!!!

  • DANG, FEDERER IS A TRUE PRODIGY

  • wait, i dont get how the twist serve worked in real life....

  • damn, that buggy whip plays on the pro's senses. "oh its out." *turns around* "WTF WTF!!"

  • haha good stuff man

  • ahhhhhhh shit!!!!!!!! That's friken amazing!!!! that kick serve was beautiful!!!!!! and same with the snake shot, moon volly, and threw the legs

  • which pixel is the ball?

  • i used to do that 1st trick shot in badminton...

  • wut bout jack knife? does tat exist ? it looks pretty real to me

  • @lookerup yes it is because that is pretty simple ^^ i tried it with my one handed back hand and i fail at it most the time but im getting used to it go prince of tennis!

  • Hah...now if it's even possible, we now need a boomerang snake. Kick serve is hard. D: I commend Ryoma and the pros for being able to do it so easily.

  • I am used the TEZUKA ZONE

  • The snake shot was actually awesome

  • Actually the one Roger Federer hit seems more like a kick

  • the twist serve is actually a very common serve

  • @jonathanelbuenaonda its common for many reasons and one is because of how often it lands in its just really tricky to hit right

  • @ecwchristianfan217 more than really tricky, its FRICKEN HARD!

  • @prabhkurasaki yeah unlike taka-sans moves i almost have the dash hakyuu perfected just need to get the timing right i am always like a second soon or late

  • @ecwchristianfan217 yep , a very good second serve gives you more margin for error and isnt so easy to return

  • @jonathanelbuenaonda not 'common'. it's an 'ace' serve where a lot of spin, speed and power are used.

  • @silvermist4895 i was talking about the twist not about the monstruos serve that federer hit there, the twist and kick serves(basically the same) are very common

  • @jonathanelbuenaonda oh i c. hmm...yeah i think ur rite. lol i know kick and twist serve are the same.

  • @silvermist4895 they are not the same. kick serve requires you to brush the ball at 12 o'clock while twist serve is a 1-3 o clock brush (rigth handed). twist is the combination of a kick and slice serve

  • @iKaato really? i thought kick serve is just the modern name of twist serve. hmm...

  • shit. it's actually possible.

  • Damn...I was hoping to see a Higuma Otoshi in there...and the Tannhauser serve...

  • @Immornix I wanted to see the Zero-Shiki :( boo...

  • OMG i cant bellieve roger federer actually did twist serve (sorta)

or that people could even do some of the moves from prince of tennis

  • anything can happen in tennis...even fuji technique....bring it on!!!!

  • Mada mada Dane.

  • PRINCE OF TENNIS IS DE' BEST!!!!!!

  • fk...and i thought echizens shots were impossible to do ...

  • O.O the twit serve was awesome!!

  • echizen means federer in japanese

  • 1. if you actually practice the timing and positioning right, its not actually that hard. having longer legs also helps

    2. it doesnt necessarily have to be done as a volley, its possible as a groundstroke (moon-lob) and easier; offensive lob

    3. you dont really have to have super duper long arms and legs to do this but its a plus. (this is my main shot actually x) ) i dont know about others, but i use a extreme western grip and you need really flexible wrists

    4. still cant do this one x)

  • @weird0ishere i can do 1 and 2 but not 3 or 4. i use extreme western grip as well and my coach gets mad at me cause he encourages semi western and he has to change his teaching style to teach me.

  • @weird0ishere ummm nvm about 3 i went and tried it and it was actually really easy

  • I heart Prince of Tennis

  • HOPE i could hit it toooooo

  • What kind of idiot stands on the service line for a serve. I know that 'volleys' are his strength, but he can't run like ten more feet? If Sasabe actually had brains, he'd stand a little bit farther back, even if the server is only a 6th grader, he's still kicking your butt.

  • Federer WOULD know the twist serve :D

  • First two shots: Roger gets pissed

Last shot: Roger destroys them. :D

  • I wanna see the "Super Ultra Great Delicious Crazy Mountain Storm" .... :D

  • @lastsamorai i wanna see fuurinkazaanrai

  • @lastsamorai hahahahahaha supa urutra GREITO DERISHIUS KUREISHI Mauntain sutormu!!!

  • Federer! :D So awesome

  • moon volley wasn't a volley :O

  • @PocketMint It's not actually a volley in the anime, either. I guess they figured "Moon Groundstroke" wasn't as catchy.

  • Nice one :D Awesome ~!

  • Federer's Twist Serve was NASTY!!

  • Omg SO COOL *w* I've always liked Federer even before I found all this out but like...I <3 him even more now~ He's my tennis idolll~

  • nothing special about moon volley.

  • ahh... what about all the other "special techniques"?

  • @FulldMoon2021

The buggy whip isn't a real tennis technique, in the real world it's simply a top spin volley, causing the ball to angle in the air. The closest thing to the buggy whip would be an around the pole, so the uploader's got it a little mixed up. Around the poles are extremely hard to do. And twist serve is a real serve, but not how PoT displayed it or how the uploader recorded, either. What he recorded federer doing was a kick serve. You might wanna check your percents :]

  • @krabykevin I would have to say, the Serve Federer did would be close to the Special Echizen Serve Ryoga talks about. Because they both spin the same way. Not that stupid serve that aims at the face... I mean seriously??

  • wow, that was cool, thanks but the most unrealistic shot was the snake shot cuz that is just crazy O.O its like, impossible for singles

  • @noobsdumb tell that to nadal who does it all the time while running XD

  • i wonder why none of the tripple couinter of syusuke fuji has its real world counterpart... lols :]

  • awesome :) I'm guessing even tennis pros watch prince of tennis?

  • nadal does the snake/buggy whip all the time because his shots have a helluva lot of more spin than anyone else's.

  • @xridethelightningx

That's mainly because he uses extreme western

  • btw update this.. between the legs is performed by federer.. the best....

  • awsome shot at the end by roger frederer, Ryoma, i would like you to meet someone LOL

  • While the series does get very unrealistic, this is pretty good

  • thanks!! *****

  • Every opponent that has and will play Federer up until the day he retires is/has/will be trapped in FEDERER Z0N3.

  • @BarOfSomething LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • ... TEZUKA ZONE.

    Lol

  • this was awsome 5stars dude loved it

  • Where is Pete Sampras's dunk smash?

  • @HCNguyen86 yeah thats right..

  • Hey I want to see a Drive B and Tezuka's dropshot :D

Lol JK i don't think those are possible but great vid.

  • I... I'm pretty sure people don't go all,

"Ouhuohww?!?!?!?!?!" and go all anime-esque in real life like at 2:37

  • @aznpheonix Kick serve is only like high school level moved. It's meant to be a second serve, gives tons of time to approach the net and since you can't power a second serve, it's a slower serve that will still give them an uncomfortable shot

  • @LightxKira5643 But still if we could get peoples' faces to light up like thaqt and time to freeze.............. It would make life so much more bearable... and much more fun!

  • Federer's really a lefty.

  • I would love to see a real samurai drive though xD

  • awww federer should've aimed it at the guys face. that would have been sooooo ryoma.

  • Real life Zero No Shiki = Instant Win. So broken.

  • ! AWESOME !@

  • federer wasnt even close calling that a twist serve he just did a kick serve similar but not really much of a twist

  • @arvinski87 no, that was a twist. twist is with topspin, kick is with slice. he used topspin there

  • I want to see boomerang snake in real

  • @iKaato their a vid on youtube of feder hitting it around the court but its not really a whole like boomerang shot from him standing in like almost the center of the court, but its still pretty close.

  • @MultiMaverik That's generally basic, it's just a rule that the ball as long as it gets inbounds without touching the ground after you hit it or anything other than the net after you make contact with the ball.

  • You're forgetting Pete Sampras' dunk smash...

  • that buggy whip was awesome!

  • put dunk smash... sampras done it so much

  • Seriously, what's the bet that Federer watches Prince of Tennis and tries to reenact the shots?

  • @Hiroki13313 $1000 he doesn't watch

  • wow, most of these include federer... XD

  • Great Video

Prince of Tennis was a great show.

    Great choice of clips too.

  • the santoro shot is incredible because he's like 5 ft behind the line... amazing

  • haha wheres tezuka zoooooooooonnneee XD

  • @XmasterDean ROFL! That'd be cool to see in real life. It seems possible.

  • Lol, if anything this video shows you have to use Prince of Tennis shots to win points off Federer.

  • CYCLONE SMASH DONT EXIST DUMBASS

  • @MattakiHanaUchiha

dumbass it does just jump in the air and twist your waist duh!

  • WHERE'S THE CYCLONE SMASH??

  • Holy shit getting it on the white line looks hard

Lol I look how it looks like the tennis ball is exploding in the last one

  • LOL, I like to see one of Fuji's counter. Or at least Atobe's Rondo no Destruction. HAHA

  • alot of these shots i can do

  • @polkadot1313 You said "A lot of these" mean, you cant do all of them. Haha, you lose, i can do all of them, lol

  • 90% of the shots in prince of tennis are real and you can do them with lots of practices but they aren't as cool looking as they make it look. its not like there impossible tho.

  • prince of tennis is only realistic to a point

  • @boiswatching Well, everyone agrees that the last ova was realistic, because i can do them

  • well somez of them are.. but this proves at least half of them notz :3

  • Almost everyone commenting here is absolutely fucking retarded.

    Thanks.

  • @BennyShit

...Because there are plenty of pros who train for years to learn tennis moves from anime, right?

Also, the Twist Serve would have gone into the guy's face if Federer had placed it on the opposite side of the court. The example shown has him aiming it down the T.

Are you like, 7 years old?

  • @illogicalman21 He is my sister. Yes, he is 7 years old.

  • Now do Tezuka Zone.

  • it just had to be federar

  • haha i love prince of tennis and i told my dad about this @.@ and he told me all the moves are fake :| hehe but thereeee nottt !! >:D

  • @ASIANPLATYPUS

    Most of them are.

  • Awesomeee

  • i thought that last one was a kick serve? o.o

  • kick serve and twist serve are the same thing they just have different names

  • @NonaL707 wrong the kick serve generally goes straight while the twist has some kind of angle usually an opposite bounce so its not confused with a topspin serve, good to see that you read the manga's description though

  • oh psh then the guy who i asked was wrong XDDDD

  • In the anime there the same but in real life there different. The kick serve in real life usually does like a high bounce i believe and the twist serve curves and then bounces the opposite way or something like that

  • haha that's awesome

  • i like the video!!!

i'm a fan of PRINCE OF TENNIS!!!

i hope the zero shiki drop shot and higuma otoshi can also be done in real life.>.!!! kyaaah :]

    =^_^=

    THANKS FOR UPLOADING!!! :>

  • it can lol

  • 2:35 nice reaction lol

  • great video!

  • Any of the triple counters possible?

  • iunno the only one i think mght be possible is higume otoshi
